“Cool little old school burger joint in Ocean Isle Beach. Burger was decent. Would have been better with a little more seasoning and a toasted bun. Best thing was you could get a side of fried okra! That was yummy. Sweet tea was also good but not too sweet. Friendly staff and I would return. They do offer outside seating and a walk up window in front.“

“I had my April 2024 wedding here and the experience is almost indescribable. I had this venue booked for more than a year, and as you can imagine, I had a lot of questions. I communicated with the manager, Marnie, more than 100 times via email and I ALWAYS received a quick response with my questions answered even with my events months down the line. The food and staff at this venue are amazing. My wedding went off without a hitch and all the compliments were on the food, friendly staff, and beautiful panoramic views of the beach. The food was great! We served the pecan chicken and a pasta station. The guests raved about the chicken and waffle slider appetizer as well. As soon as the dances were over and we sat at our sweetheart table we were immediately greeted with food from Marnie and a staff member. This goes to show their level of professionalism and attentiveness. The kids' food was also served first and that impressed parents. I was told this was the first wedding that occurred and they were thrilled. I only have wonderful things to say. You will not be let down with any event you host at the Isles. Thanks Marnie!! You guys are amazing. I need to find another event to throw just so I can come back!“

“We stopped in for a snack in the afternoon. It was our first time to visit our server whose name was Steven was awesome. Told us all about the eatery and the tap room next door he was enthusiastic and checked on us several times we will go back“

“We arrived early evening on a Tuesday and the place was absolutely slammed. We put her name in for a table and went upstairs for a Tiki drink or two. Drinks were excellent. After we were seated our server, Riley took out drink order and reappeared quickly with water and our drinks. I have the captain’s platter and chose shrimp and clams and Anne ordered the shrimp and grits. Riley had warned us that it’s a large portion, but who knows what that really can be. Well, the food arrived promptly and the shrimp and grits truly was an enormous portion. Enough for two. Was creamy, cheesy, slammed full of shrimp, andouille and mushrooms. My shrimp and clams were lightly breaded and fried to perfection. Frankly, as busy as it was, I was surprised with the speed of service and the quality of the food. Absolutely recommend this place!“

“We started our meal at Maria’s Pizzeria with the Mussels Marinara, and they set the tone for a great night plump, tender mussels in a rich, flavorful sauce with plenty of bread for dipping. Everything that followed was just as good, from the pizza to the lasagna, all served in a warm, friendly beach atmosphere. If you’re on OIB, this is a must-stop. 🍕“

The food was delicious, my wife got blueberry French toast & I got a bacon,egg & provolone cheese croissant along with a side bowl of milk gravy both meals were delicious !! “Gravy is a nice country restaurant where you get great home cooked food for a cheap price. I recommend their Seafood Trio that comes with fried fish, fried shrimp, fried scallops, hush puppies, and two sides. Make sure you get it with their homemade cocktail and tartar sauces!“

“Small seating area with the feel of family. Staff was awesome and they really cared about making you happy. Went to another restaurant that had a 40+ minute wait and found this place. It was a hidden gem. My son saw they had birria and said ya, were going there. It was my first time having it. I got the birria burger and it was awesome. Glad we found a new place to go to.“

“If I could give a 10 rating 10 times I would! I ordered a 20-person package of bbq & chicken with slaw & potato salad. It was delicious & included iced tea, cups, paper plates, napkins, utensils, bbq sauce, hush puppies, & even salt & pepper…….plus ice. I couldn’t have asked for better food & service…….it was ready at pick-up time & rolled out on a cart with help to load into my car. I would definitely recommend this for a crowd & will definitely do this again!! Thank you, Smithfield’s in Shallotte!!!!“

“We have had issues finding places we like (a lot of the places around her have been bland). We came from an area where we were pretty spoiled with great restaurants and Wing & Fish has been the only place so far that is comparable. We have been here three times so far and they have been very consistent each time. The food is great, and the staff are friendly and attentive.“

Phenomenal service, phenomenal food, and until the day I die, this restaurant will have my business. If you’re on vacation or you’re here playing golf? Hell, if you’re a person that just moved here and looking for a great spot to call home? I highly recommend this restaurant. If I was only allowed to give them five out of five stars? “How they keep return customers, I don't know. We keep trying to have a good experience but have been disappointed almost every time. Parking lot looks like an area trash point, service is slow, food is mediocre (which is OK for a beach bar, if it is consistently good, warm and tasty). We need good restaurants in Sunset Beach, this one has a looong way to go. The food trucks in the park across the street offer a better dining experience, which is sad.“

“We love Jeromes's. We go 3-4 times a week. Suggestions to make it better: 1. Real Butter instead of the Spread; 2. Be more consistent with the $10 specials. We are never sure if there is going to be a special, or what the special is going to be. We also enjoy the ribs, senior seafood plate, and beef tips. The salad bar is great. Excellent local restaurant without driving a long way.“
