Marias Pizzeria Reviews
We started our meal at Maria’s Pizzeria with the Mussels Marinara, and they set the tone for a great night plump, tender mussels in a rich, flavorful sauce with plenty of bread for dipping. Everything that followed was just as good, from the pizza to the lasagna, all served in a warm, friendly beach atmosphere. If you’re on OIB, this is a must-stop. 🍕
1/2 and 1/2...love their bar pie with a beer. Went today had chicken Florentine and the chicken was horrible, not even bad but horrible. Over cooked, dry and awful. Thought the waitress would refuse to serve but she did ..will never have dinner there again although I will return for beer and pizza but that is it.
l did a online order for a small all meat pizza. This was our first time eating from there. The food was ready when they said it would be! The pizza was good & will definitely eat from there again when I am back at OIB!

Marias Pizzeria is a lively spot that is popular with families and pizza lovers alike. The restaurant is known for its delicious pizzas with a chewy crust and good toppings. Many customers enjoy the meatball appetizer, penne vodka, lobster and shrimp ravioli, and shrimp cream pesto pasta. The portions are usually large enough to take leftovers home, and the staff is often described as sweet and helpful.
The pizzeria offers cold beer and hot pizza, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. However, some customers have experienced uncomfortable seating, with booths being like "sitting on a board," which can be difficult for those with back problems.
Recent reviews highlight mixed experiences. Some appreciated the bar pie with a beer, while others found the chicken Florentine to be overcooked and dry. There was also an incident where a customer ordered a takeout pizza with marinara sauce, but was told it was in the pizza box. When they returned for the sauce, they received only a small cup after a wait, which was disappointing. Another customer waited longer than expected for an order and received a stromboli made with pepperoni instead of pineapple, which they could not eat due to allergies.
Despite these issues, the pizza remains highly praised, but service and seating have been noted as areas needing improvement.
