We hear they have good eats, but when sauces, pasta, cheeses , and bread come together like this it is a symphony of flavor, your mouth will water at the thought of eating here , they start you out with homemade bread , and it just goes up hill with entrees, the staff is very attentive, a good time to be had by
La Cucina is a small restaurant in a strip mall on the sunset beach and ocean isle beach border offering a wide range of Italian American dishes. The place is small but the service is great and food is very good.

Great classic Italian dishes at reasonable prices and in just-right portions. Pleasant wait-staff and good service also in a reasonable amount of time. It's been a long time since we've found such a great spot and hesitated to write a review since they might not be able to fit us in any more! The music is a bit smarmy ("When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie" and "Dream the impossible dream") but not so loud you can't talk.
