“Before you get to the tourist insanity of the beach areas, this is an island of calm. We aren’t buffet people, but fortunately you can order off the menu. We had barbecue sandwiches and sweet tea and didn’t break the bank. There were four kinds of sauce, and we are all about sauce: vinegar, hot vinegar, mustard, and ketchup based. We tried them all. Why not? Staff were very friendly and helpful.“
“The wings and ribs were out of this world ( only wished they had brisket)... we had collards and marinated slaw as sides and they reminded me of my Grandma's... what a wonderful treat finding this gem on our way back from Charleston...“
“Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in the Grand Strand! All of the food and drinks are genuinely made from scratch and there is real pride in their business. Strongly recommend this place to anyone who loves smoked food, rich desserts, and great customer service.Kid-friendliness: Positive atmosphere, very kid friendly“
“Great atmosphere, waitress was a bit weird, always stressing how expensive what I ordered would be elsewhere.Food was good down home cooking. Not a large buffet but a good buffet.Tea was weak but I enjoyed myself anyway.Country music from speakers.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Second time here - and won't be the last. This is the cutest little cottage in The Hammocks Village - which is simply stunning. Truly a hidden gem. Now let's get to the food! Today I had their Portlandia and fruit, and it was wonderful. So tasty! I am sharing photos from the last time we went, because I forgot to take photos today. Extremely yummy, unique meals here, as well as a full bar, should you desire. Cozy, fun and the nicest staff. You MUST go!“
