“Best place to eat in my hometown of Johnsonville! Some people call this "soul food" -- to us, this is just good, Southern home cooking. Here, it's buffet style, and you can get a take-out tray to go if you prefer to not eat in the restaurant. Some of the regular staples on the bar you can find include fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, rice and stewed tomatoes, chicken and rice, okra (steamed or fried), green beans, butter beans, Lima beans, black-eyes peas, yams, fat back, biscuits, banana pudding, and coconut pie. Items do vary some. Best time to eat is Sunday around 11:30 a.m.“

“Great food best chicken bog I have had in awhile. Pulled pork was great vinegar based but not over powered like the others in the area. Bbq chicken and ribs we’re done just right. Fried chicken was good and the fried chicken gizzards were on point. Going to have to go get parts in Hemingway more often“
