“Nice upscale cosy venue with a bar & dining room with seats for couples or small groups. Drinks & food choices to appreciate. Italian, surf or turf. My wife had tomato basil soup followed with the grilled sea bass with dried tomatoes & spinach over linguine with caper, lemon & butter sauce. I had a Cesar Salad followed with grilled scallops over corn risotto with balsamic reduction. A bottle of Pinot Gris added to our meals. We share the homemade tiramisu with two black coffees. Everything was delicious & served by friendly staff in a well paced manner. Samantha, our waitress, was just as delightful as our meal. I highly recommend you check out this upscale venue. A reservation may be a good idea. Enjoy Mustang USMC Retired“
“First time visit. My buddies and I come down from Ohio every spring to play golf. We always try to make it to Murrells Inlet for seafood and the view. The service was good, and all four of us were happy with the food. I had the grouper over risotto, and it was delicious. Overall, it was a nice experience.“
“If you want quality food that is finely prepared, this is your place. The grouper is best around. We love their platter combo because you get both grouper and crab cake. The crab cake is chock full of real crab meat, not that "deviled crab" stuff. All the desserts are home made. Their carrot cake is award winning. Southside has a clean, new feel, not a worn out tourist joint. Lizzie, our waitress, was related to everyone working there. They ask if you're satisfied and genuinely care. Should I say more? Glad I listened to where locals go. Bad news is they are only open Wed. to Sat 4.30 to 8:00. So we go early.“
“We came in on St. Patrick’s day night before closing. Unfortunately, there was a large group of routy college students spilling drinks and crowding tables. Our server Emma handled it amazingly! Despite the chaos she was still so kind. She moved the people in her section to other tables and asked management to help control/kick out and they did! On top of their wonderful customer service the food is absolutely amazing. I’m confident in saying they have the best food on the MarshWalk. It was so good we came back the next day and the customer service was just as great as the night before (without all the chaos of course). After trying 8 other places in the area, it was so good we decided to have them cater our wedding! 10/10 recommend! Our personal favorites:Boo Boo’s Tender BitesBlue Crab NachosInlet TrioCrab CakesAnything with porkBrisketRibsFriesMurrells ColadaGoat Island Sunrise“
“Dinner tonight was excellent from the owner Renee to her staff. Brandon our server was very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. Emilo the chef was able to come out from his duties in the kitchen to say hello checking on the guest. Thank you all for a wonderful dinner. We are locals we will be back.“
“When you walk in it’s like a cruise boat layout. We sat outside on the deck on rails nice view! We got the triggerfish bites, crab soup and crab cake. Drunken punch and the famous margarita and SWEET TEA! Omg their sweet tea was the best I’ve ever had! Ask for Emma she did wonderful fast and efficient!“
“This is a food truck, so atmosphere isn't a consideration. The menu is limited, mostly fried, but quite tasty. This will be a weekly indulgence during Lent. The proprietress is warm, funny, and fast. She's the kind of lady whose business you want to support.Fried shrimp are great. They are big boys, not little popcorn shrimp. The flounder is delicious. The grouper fingers could be made better with a spicier batter, but everything is fried in clean oil.A variety of sauces/dips are available. The roumelade is quite good.“
“Cannot say enough good things about the pace. They accommodated our party of 11 at lunch time, our waitress (Lora) was on top of things - brought drinks out, got all of the orders correct and split the bill up by family - all without missing a beat. The place is quirky in its' looks, but the food and service was excellent. The crab-stuffed jalapenos were excellent, and the amount of shrimp on my shrimp quesadilla was significant. I could hardly finish everything. The clam chowder was very good and the cod basket that my wife ordered came with large pieces of cod and delicious french fries. On a last note - there is a discount for cash payment. Small signs in the restaurant explaining it.“
“It's definitely the absolute best tasting hamburger I ever had. I always say to go to places that ask how you want your meat cooked. Don't even need any sauce. The way it's cooked and spiced. It has definitely changed and ruined my taste for 90% of burger places. Everyone has to go there. Great prices too!“
“We got there at 4:30, and they were quickly getting busy. The atmosphere was excellent, music was good but not too loud. Our waitress Brooke was top notch, bringing everything we could possibly need up front and checking on us frequently. Shrimp cocktail was excellent for the price, my husband's hamburger steak/fries were perfect in every way. I had fried platter of flounder, scallops and deviled crab, all of which were fresh and tasty, especially the fresh scallops (not stingray like some restaurants try to pass off as real scallops). I should've asked for my food extra crispy, so that's my fault. The little hush puppies and honey butter were to die for also! Our bill was around $80 before the tip, and it was every bit worth the price!!“
“Great atmosphere, waitress was a bit weird, always stressing how expensive what I ordered would be elsewhere.Food was good down home cooking. Not a large buffet but a good buffet.Tea was weak but I enjoyed myself anyway.Country music from speakers.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“This restaurant is a perfect place for a family that likes seafood and there is other options for people that don't like seafood that much and over all this is a great place and recommend for tourists.and Cameron is an amazing waitress.“
“Valentines dinner with my wife and we enjoyed our whole experience. Our server Taylor was excellent. She was very pleasant, proficient and friendly. I had the steam pot and my wife had the scallops. We shared the stuffed muscles appetizer. Everything was delicious.“
“STOP! Read Before Visiting! This is no longer a separate restaurant -- its the red-headed step-child of JPeters (next door). We chose this place thinking it was a less pricey option for our family of 6. We were sitting at a nicely painted picnic table ( suitable for the type of dinner we expected) and given a menu for the Steak House next door (J Peters).I asked the waitress and she said the Love Shack was owned by J Peters. SO, we decided if we were paying Highly-rated-steakhouse Prices, we might as well sit inside the nice steakhouse! We were pleasantly surprised to find it was "early bird" hours (see photo of menu!).My Advice: if you're here for dinner, arrive early and Go next door to J Peters for the early bird menu!“
“We live in the inlet and wish I cooked more Seafood at home as if I did I would have the pleasure of shopping Murrells Inlet Seafood more often than I do. However, when I am looking for seafood, I know I can always count on Rick and Murrells Inlet Seafood.Recently, my 91 year old mom was on Hospice and loosing her appetite so I thought some of Rick's soup would please her and boy did I hit a home run... Mom absolutely loved the lobster asparagus truffle bisque and inhaled the entire quart in one day!I will always remember just how much joy Rick's soup added to moms life at a very hard time when nothing tasted good, mom loved the soup!A sincere Thank You to Rick and the entire staff at Murrells Inlet Seafood!“
“I have been here several times and I try something different on the menu everytime I come! There is NOTHING on this menu that disappoints!! The sandwiches are fresh and piled high! The shrimp are HUGE from our local shrimp man Charlie. Everything is made to order with fast friendly service!! I will definitely be supporting this local business regularly!“
“I visited Kimbels for a wedding. The weather was fantastic and glad it was because the wedding was held on the bluffs. Such a beautiful setting. Appetizers were served to us by wandering waiters in an outside tent along with a bar and band. After the ceremony and wedding pix ... the people went inside where there were 4 food stations. So good. After we got our fill ... we went back outside under the tent to dance. It couldn't have been better!“
“Our first visit..what took us so long! Beautiful views of the inlet. Had a great server. Started with the crab and shrimp crostini. Loved them, would have been better if warm through and through though, but that might not have been the way they were intended to be served. We like bang bank shrimp but were hesitant about the Sriracha sayce being too hot for our taste. Our server graciously provided a sample for our dinner, and we loved it. Not hot at all, great flavor for dipping our shrimpnand oysters. We shared the seafood platter with scallops. Everything was grand. We had all the items fried except the scallops which we chose to have grilled. We are not oyster fans, as raw just isn't appealing to us. We have had fried before on a taco, so we took a chance. These were sooo good, we are a fan, at least from here. Very good PB pie. We'll be back, sooner than later.“
