“Went for a drink and appetizers. The bartender was adorable. She was a sister in law I think of the owner. I had wings with a Thai sauce amazing. My husband enjoyed his appetizers, too. It was very comfortable. We are from out of town visiting my son that works down the road from here. So glad he told us to go here. When I come back next year I will be back.“
“Thank you Cindy for always making our nights at Greg's fun! Great nightly specials, happy hour, and the best buffalo chicken fingers on a salad (my family says) on the Inlet. Greg's really does a great job with burgers and BBQ ribs too! Please offer Truly strawberry lemonade or Mikes Zero Sugar lemonades for us regulars. :)“
“Nice upscale cosy venue with a bar & dining room with seats for couples or small groups. Drinks & food choices to appreciate. Italian, surf or turf. My wife had tomato basil soup followed with the grilled sea bass with dried tomatoes & spinach over linguine with caper, lemon & butter sauce. I had a Cesar Salad followed with grilled scallops over corn risotto with balsamic reduction. A bottle of Pinot Gris added to our meals. We share the homemade tiramisu with two black coffees. Everything was delicious & served by friendly staff in a well paced manner. Samantha, our waitress, was just as delightful as our meal. I highly recommend you check out this upscale venue. A reservation may be a good idea. Enjoy Mustang USMC Retired“
“Their non-dairy ice cream is awesome! I tried 2 flavors and loved loved loved them! My new ice cream store! Those with me had regular ice cream in a variety of flavors and loved them! The girls behind the counter were helpful and friendly.“
“If you want quality food that is finely prepared, this is your place. The grouper is best around. We love their platter combo because you get both grouper and crab cake. The crab cake is chock full of real crab meat, not that "deviled crab" stuff. All the desserts are home made. Their carrot cake is award winning. Southside has a clean, new feel, not a worn out tourist joint. Lizzie, our waitress, was related to everyone working there. They ask if you're satisfied and genuinely care. Should I say more? Glad I listened to where locals go. Bad news is they are only open Wed. to Sat 4.30 to 8:00. So we go early.“
“Hard drinking, rowdy patrons, loud bikes, and live music. Decent food, too. The Beaver Bar sits happily in Murrells Inlet offering to quell your thirst while extending a middle finger to any who pass judgment. Established in 2009 by Leslye Beaver, the non-drinking and non-smoking owner, she also has a similar dive in Sturgis, South Dakota. Although I am not a biker, nor a hard-core drinker, I do like the vibe especially after a day in the sand. It rattles my "Give 'em a whirl meter" to the bone when the bikes roll in or the drum hits the downbeat. I say go for it.“
“We had a blast here! Family of 12 served quickly by Allison who brought us everything we needed. We had fun dancing to jukebox tunes while waiting for food. The food was so good. We had shrimp, wings, nachos, hamburgers, fries, slaw, fish bites, fried pickles and chicken tenders. Every meal was delicious and filling. Great place. Try it!“
“We came in on St. Patrick’s day night before closing. Unfortunately, there was a large group of routy college students spilling drinks and crowding tables. Our server Emma handled it amazingly! Despite the chaos she was still so kind. She moved the people in her section to other tables and asked management to help control/kick out and they did! On top of their wonderful customer service the food is absolutely amazing. I’m confident in saying they have the best food on the MarshWalk. It was so good we came back the next day and the customer service was just as great as the night before (without all the chaos of course). After trying 8 other places in the area, it was so good we decided to have them cater our wedding! 10/10 recommend! Our personal favorites:Boo Boo’s Tender BitesBlue Crab NachosInlet TrioCrab CakesAnything with porkBrisketRibsFriesMurrells ColadaGoat Island Sunrise“
“I ordered eggs Benedict this St Pat's day and must say that there was much too much seasoning salt on the eggs and potatoes during their preparation. It detracted from their culinary appeal. If I were to eat there in the future, I will ask that no seasoning salt be used. That way, I could season them to my liking. I also would have liked more hollandaise sauce on my eggs. Otherwise, the food was cooked to perfection and served hot.“
“Our first time going to this gem of a place tucked away on a side road, across from the inlet mall. Excellent food, and atmosphere. The owner and staff were super welcoming. We are already planning our next trip back. We got their breakfast today, but going back for their lunch the next time. Prices are really reasonable as well!!“
“Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in the Grand Strand! All of the food and drinks are genuinely made from scratch and there is real pride in their business. Strongly recommend this place to anyone who loves smoked food, rich desserts, and great customer service.Kid-friendliness: Positive atmosphere, very kid friendly“
“I've ate at all the River City Cafe locations and this one in Murrells Inlet is by far my favorite. Its low key and I never have to wait to be seated when I go. I love trying a new burger everytime I go. One of my favorite burger sites, ever! Always make it a point to eat at River City when I'm near one.“
“Best Belgian Waffles I've ever had in my 64 years. They melt in your mouth! Service is superfast and very pleasant. Seating area is large and they have lots of booths. Nice amount of spacing between tables which gives better privacy than at many other breakfast restaurants. Lovely decor.“
“Came on vacation and had the best burger I’ve ever had in my life , we ate there 4 times of our seven day vacation and the food was incredible. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners Andy. Atmosphere was great, Everyone had a good time, and I will continue to come back every time I visit my family. Keep up the great work you guys are onto something“
“Search a wonderful place to eat in. The owner's are wonderful as well. What's not mention Sunday mornings? When you can get bloody marys or mimosas. 5 bucks each with a whole meal. When you walk in the door of this restaurant. You instantly feel like family like it's your own neighborhood watering “
“STOP! Read Before Visiting! This is no longer a separate restaurant -- its the red-headed step-child of JPeters (next door). We chose this place thinking it was a less pricey option for our family of 6. We were sitting at a nicely painted picnic table ( suitable for the type of dinner we expected) and given a menu for the Steak House next door (J Peters).I asked the waitress and she said the Love Shack was owned by J Peters. SO, we decided if we were paying Highly-rated-steakhouse Prices, we might as well sit inside the nice steakhouse! We were pleasantly surprised to find it was "early bird" hours (see photo of menu!).My Advice: if you're here for dinner, arrive early and Go next door to J Peters for the early bird menu!“
“The bathrooms have always been clean each time I've been here. The atmosphere is so nice. One side has fans for those who get hotter and for those who are running cooks there is the side with pool tables that do not. The staff is really awesome and friendly. The is a patio if you prefer outside and the brew is nice and ice cold. I love this place“
“What a great little bar in the Inlet. The new owners are doing a lot of renovations & adding a menu. Drinks were great & food was delicious. I love the little kick the cheese balls have. I noticed they have karaoke, bingo, the ultimate game show, etc. It was so good we are going to watch the Super Bowl there!“
“I visited Kimbels for a wedding. The weather was fantastic and glad it was because the wedding was held on the bluffs. Such a beautiful setting. Appetizers were served to us by wandering waiters in an outside tent along with a bar and band. After the ceremony and wedding pix ... the people went inside where there were 4 food stations. So good. After we got our fill ... we went back outside under the tent to dance. It couldn't have been better!“
“I had gastric bypass surgery ten years ago and never regretted it until I went here. Now I can’t eat enough when I’m there because everything taste so good. The wife bought a vacation home at the beach and frankly I didn’t like going much until I found this place, now every time I go I’m eating here at lest once! It has become my favorite all time place to eat. My permanent home is roughly three hours away but don’t think I haven’t dreamed and thought of just riding down on a random workday just to get something good to eat. I absolutely adore this place for its great food and wonderful friendly and also helpful staff as well.“
