Today, several people on Facebook had recommended River City Cafe in Barefoot Landing so we decided to try it. It was totally worth the drive! The food was great! The onion rings were bigger than the burger! The server was perfect. I'm sorry I don't remember her name because she deserves the credit! But, if you have peanut allergies don't go there. There are peanuts everywhere. You cannot avoid them.“

The lump crab with herb infused citrus oil served over a bed of avocados was delicate and perfectly seasoned. Berry melange salad was super fresh with strawberries and blueberries and perfectly candied pecans, goat cheese crumbles and champagne vinaigrette. Fried green tomatoes with homemade pimento cheese.
