“The events at Crooked Hammock Brewery are some of the best attractions at Barefoot Landing. The eclectic selection of things to do in the backyard at this brewery in North Myrtle and my fav was stop at Tortuga Island, their waterfront gazebo bar.

The bar has seating for 26 and room for 84. You’ll have access to the full restaurant and food menu on the island.

We got the table near by water, though the wife was insisting on sitting at the bar as it had swing swing-style sitting arrangement.

*Smashed Avocado Dip: The taste was blunt though, we sent it back but they just came up with salt and some more dip to fix it. Anyway, we were here for the drink so did not pay much attention.

*Traditional wings: it's always good, it's a matter of sauces though and hey take a hint from BWW. You gave one thin slice of carrot and celery. Bad ape!

“Its on the beach. Huge deck. Breeze. Staff awesome and really more laid back locals place. Food is great.. its bar food but great. Outstanding breakfast..on the beach. They have a HLT sandwich with southern country ham. Ask for double ham..for few bucks more. Still under $10. Awesome. If you comfortable with a true Southern bar.. Pro America. Pro military. Patriotic. Not in your face.. we are Southern with manners ingrained. You will be around folks that are patriots.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly during day. Its a bar too...so after dinner hours I would say time take kids putt putt.“

“Went here around 2pm in the afternoon and it was pretty busy. But to be fair it was raining so what else are you gonna do. The bowling alley itself was nice. It was hard to find balls, but that's also just because it was packed. Bowling is pay by the hour, not the game which was interesting. But the kiosks they had for each lane where pretty advanced compared to other bowling alleys I've been too. Although the 'change theme' option just doesn't work. But everything else does on it. I also really liked that it allowed for people to choose whether or not they wanted bumpers on the kiosk
The bowling alley also has a decent sized arcade as well as board / table top games, an ice cream place, a general place to order food, and really nice bathrooms. Like I was actually surprised at how nice the bathroom was.
My only complaint and the reason for 4 stars was that I watched a server sell / bring out an alcoholic drink to someone who clearly looked to be 15/16 and didn't ask to see their id at all. In fact I didn't see the servers asking for anyone's id. Which for a place that serves alcohol / has a bar is really concerning
Other than that this was a great place to spend a few hours with the family. Just disappointed in the lack of care of the law“
