“Best shrimp burger ever- did not disappoint after reading all the glowing reviews. The slaw was also delicious. The key lime martini, server’s recommendation was spot on. It was not too sweet and I could taste some coconut too. It was a comfortable, lively pub to enjoy a tasty meal.“

“My wife & I ate breakfast there 5/10/24….I didn’t get the waitress’s name. Service was good. The food was delicious, my wife got blueberry French toast & I got a bacon,egg & provolone cheese croissant along with a side bowl of milk gravy both meals were delicious !! We would highly recommend !! Thank you Purple Onion for a great experience !! Yes, we even took home some baked goods !! Yummy !! May God bless y’all !! ❤️❤️“

“We tried this place after seeing it on Yelp and am glad we did! We had a reservation for 10 (4 adults and 6 kids/teens) and were seated immediately. We were in and out in an hour which is unbelievable for MB during Spring Break. Food, drinks, dessert, and portions were all great!“

“After going to Holden for 16 years, we decided to try Duffer’s. Had heard of the place , but never went . Needless to say, it’s now our favorite!! After going one night, we went back another before leaving . The prime rib sandwich is the best I’ve ever tasted! Every food item brought out to other’s tables sitting near us looked equally delicious! If you haven’t been here while visiting Shalotte or Holden Beach, it’s a must !“
