If you make it out to Myrtle Beach, Surfside, or Murrells Inlet, be sure to visit On the Half Shell. This was our first time here and our server. Matt was fabulous. The food was great and the atmosphere as well. Great Happy Hour as too!
If you’re in the Myrtle Beach area, On the Half Shell restaurant is a must-visit! The food was absolutely amazing, and our server Matt was probably the best waiter I’ve ever had. Bri at the bar whipped up some of the most delicious drinks I’ve ever tasted. Honestly, we were a bit nervous about the prices as they’re so reasonable, but rest assured, the food exceeded our expectations, and the wait staff was exceptional

Because of the weather needed to find a place for takeout. Read the great reviews for On The Half Shell so gave it a go. Ordered two baskets, fried clams and the shrimp opted for blackened. Both came with slaw and fries and both were great! Definitely a place locals go to and for good reason. Will definitely be back.
