Visited for first time on 8/4/24. Went in for lunch . Limited menu , no soup available . Server was great and nice atmosphere but food was overpriced for what we got. My mom ordered a Caesar salad which looked like leftover and wilted lettuce. Store bought dressing for homemade pricing. My Dad ordered a plate of shrimp as the waitress kindly pointed out other lunch shrimp would be very tiny, so pay the extra for “The Plate”. Invited another couple to dinner last night and can only describe the food as awful
The fried flounder was dry and rubbery clearly not fresh and overcooked. I also had the grilled grouper which was overcooked with burnt ends, dry, and maybe 5 oz for $36. Our friends were too polite to comment but one had a salad with shrimp on top. She spent her time separating parts of the salad she disliked. The other guest ordered the rib eye and only ate half. brought another couple to dinner tonight expecting a good seafood meal. My wife ordered the fried flounder which was plentiful but dry and rubbery...definitely not fresh flounder. I had the grilled grouper which was maybe 5 Oz and over cooked for $36. there was a cup of tasteless rice included. To say we were disappointed is an understatement for the seafood capital of SC. Service and ambiance was good.

Based on the reviews, Wahoo's Fish House offers excellent service and delicious food, including sushi, Oysters Rockefeller, Grouper, shrimp, sushi rolls, Wedge salad, grouper tacos, scallops, Pasta Primavera with shrimps, and a seafood platter with flounder, shrimp, oysters, and crab cake bites. Salads are huge and suggest sharing. The food was amazing and did not disappoint. The portions are so plentiful. The view is beautiful by the window, from the back deck overlooking the marsh, or up stairs. Parking was a pain, and the price is a little high. The service was great, with a super nice server. There was a band on the outdoor deck.
