“We decided to give Shiki Sushi a try this evening with friends. Ashley was our server & was very friendly, professional, & super knowledgeable/helpful. Service was quick, everyone’s food was excellent. Highly recommend - we will be back!“
“We had a reservation for 9. On entering the restaurant, we were not greeted by either of the two hostesses, who sort of ignored us. We approached the desk, and after giving the name on our reservation, we were led to our table. Not one word was uttered by the hostess. At this point, I was thinking the service was going to be bad. Within a minute of being seated, a bright and breezy waitress came to take our drink orders and go over the fresh catch of the day. She was upbeat, friendly and was able to quickly answer a couple of questions about menu items. Drinks ordered as were the various appetizers. They both arrived quickly, accompanied by a delightful basket of assorted bread rolls. I ordered the fried green tomatoes that came with 3 large blackened shrimp. While they were in no way greasy, the tomatoes were under seasoned and the shrimp a tad overcooked. Two in our party had sushi and said it was very good. Another had the she crab soup which was thick and creamy with a good amount of crab. The oysters were large and very fresh. The shrimp and grits came as a massive bowl, loaded down with shrimp, and I was told it was excellent. Other entrées ordered by our group included steaks, scallops over cheese grits, lobster tails and a house salad with grilled shrimp. Judging by the clean plates all enjoyed their choices. A couple of minor negatives, were were not offered refills of our cocktails or iced water, although those having soft drinks were replenished often. The Wahoo Fish house sits over, looking the marsh and the tables at the windows are best, so if this is your preference, I recommend making a reservation and requesting a table there. We arrived at 4.30, and it was not that busy, but the parking area was full already. The vacant lot next door was offering parking for $5.00, which the restaurant will refund after dining. Make sure to keep the parking ticket. Two other points worth mentioning, by 6.00pm the restaurant is hopping, with guests lining up to dine. Secondly, like most places in a tourist area, the prices are not cheap. So if you're not prepared to pay $60 plus per person, you best look elsewhere. Would I eat here again, I certainly would.“
“As a local, we have eaten at Wahoos many times before but have never left a review. It's time to fix that! Wife and I went last night along with another couple. We were warmly greeted and seated. Our server was Emily G and any restaurant would be proud to have her. She was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and made our visit even more pleasant than we already knew it would be. Thanks Emily! As usual we ordered the crab dip for the table and I had their version of shrimp & grits which is wonderful! Everyone had high compliments on both the meal and the service. If you are reading this, looking for a recommendation, do yourself a favor and GO!We ate inside last night because the weather was a bit nasty but there is also an outside seating area thats a lot of fun, give it a try when you go.Again, thanks Wahoos and thanks Emily!“
“Small restaurant. We walked in at noon. The dining area was empty. My 1st instinct was to walk out. No customers = bad food right? WRONG! The Teraki chicken and steak was absolutely delicious! The crab Rangoon was amazing! I'm so glad we gave it a chance! We come to myrtle Beach twice a year. This restaurant will be added to our regular places to eat!“
“We love Aquinos... and Pj is freaking awesome!! Tonight's food was the absolute best I have ever had at this restaurant and we've been dining here since they opened as Miyabis/Kyotos (years ago!)#hachiyaMI #buzzyboothKid-friendliness: They always make it fun for the kids!!“
“Everyone I was eating with absolutely loved their meal, and the burger I had was one of the BEST burgers I have had in 5 years. The server was hilarious and kind, and the cooks were very organized and polite. I would drive hours just to come back, 5/5 stars. This Wicked Tuna was Wicked awesome. If you have one near you, GO!“
“Matt at the back bar was awesome. He created a strawberry mojito that was out of this world. The chix lettuce wraps with peanut sauce were amazing. Loved the view with the open windows overlooking the marsh. Definitely coming back soon. A great place to celebrate with my hubby for his birthday. Thanks Matt. We’ll be back!“
“I had read a review online that Manta has the best Crab Rangoon so I added it to our list of places to try. The Crab Rangoon is fantastic, as are the various sushi rolls we tried. Our friend got Pad Thai and it was also very good (although it wasn't spicy at all). Wasn't very busy at 5:30pm but filled up by 7pm. Service was good until the end when they were getting very busy. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, definitely will return here.“
“Highly recommend. The sushi is delicious and fresh. I got the Lox and Unago rolls. I also got to try a little of the salmon poke bowl which was fantastic. I also sampled the Bulgogi lettuce wraps and the beef was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their food. I would definitely go again when in the area.“
“I truly want to slam this place, BUT I can't because the food was mouthwatering. I will start with the fact that it is pricey. The California Roll is $10.50. You can get it anywhere else for $8. The atmosphere is a cramped dive bar. The seats are torn. The hardwood floors are disgusting. The service was dismal. Now, to the food. We ordered several rolls, Dragon, Lotus, and Spicy Crab. We also ordered the Tuna Poke Stack. I had never heard of a Lotus roll, but it's now my favorite. Not only was it aesthetically pleasing but also exquisite. I had no idea what a Tuna Poke Stack was, but it's now in my wheelhouse.I hope the service was just a one-off day. The tight seating inside is offset with outdoor seating. As poor of an experience as I had, I still highly recommend this place. GET THE LOTUS!Parking: Lots of parking in the Market Common area. All FREE!“
“I have never tried Thai food and I am a picky eater. That being said this place is absolutely incredible!! The food is amazing and the service incredible! I was literally asked if my drink wasn’t strong enough to let them know but it was on point! Omg make sure you go here for amazing delights! Can’t say enough good things about what we just ate. So so so yummy good!!!!“
“We were visiting Kelowna for a month and during that time I tried sushi 4 times. To say this place was the best is an understatement. Growing up my dad had several sushi restaurants and as much as I hate to say this.. this is the best Japanese food I’ve ever had, even better than my dads who received the highest rating form the Chicago tribune. (I’m the from the states) every bite was perfect. Its been a long time being to is full and happy!“
