“We went out for the Panthers game last night.We didn't do so well in the playoffs, but in the meantime, let me give a shout-out to Gator Zone Sports Bar and Grille in Murrells Inlet for the love/support for the game, the impeccable service (owners, Angela and Eric out and about talking to everyone), and the great food. Can’t forget our bartender/server, Alana. She’s on point! We had a heck of a good time.“

“We were there during the bike rally. Took a few mins to order and it was cool inside which was great to take a break from the heat. They have a very limited menu but the food was good. It is fun walking around outside and looking at the beautiful bikes and all the goods offered by the vendors. The band was good and the beer was cold. Gonna try to be there every year. “My husband and I frequent Inlet Sports Bar several times a week. Since the new owners took over about a year and a half ago we are regulars. Their food is phenomenal and also very very reasonable as compared to other bar/restaurants along the Marsh Walk and Inlet area. We especially love their homemade mac and cheese and I love the Pinwheel (chicken club) All of the bartenders are great. It is our favorite place to go!!“

I get the Bison Burger, but have had the beef also and super juicy They also have a gluten free bun option not listed on the menu, but their ordinary buns cause me no issues, which is not typical. French fries are homemade and not too greasy or salty. Delicious. Can't recommend it enough. Excellent prices, service and portion size.“

“My husband and I decided to stop here yesterday for a quick game of bowling! It’s been chilly in Myrtle and we wanted to do something different and get out of the house. Spent about 2 hrs here and had a great time! Super friendly staff!! We bowled for an hour and then just walked around and checked out the place. Plenty of bowling lanes; 2 nice bar areas; several pool tables; nice dining area; a really cool 3D Zombie 18 hole putt-putt (indoor); and a game room with tons of games including skeeball (which we had to partake in). We had already eaten when we got there but the menu and the food being served looked amazing! Highly recommend this place if you are visiting Myrtle or even live here!! And it’s located right in Market Common so plenty of shopping to walk to! Can’t wait to take the grandkids this summer!“

“we have been several times and every time has been great! not only are the servers extremely nice, but you are greeted promptly and the food is delivered quick! everything I have had there is really good! I highly recommend the pretzel, French dip and their onion rings are very good, the chicken tenders are also great!! my daughter enjoys the burger and she loves their grilled cheese. “Not your typical Myrtle Beach tourist establishment. Very much the corner bar that you used to go to in your hometown. Good people and reasonable prices. Football on Sundays brings in fans from just about every team. But, this is still a smoking bar. So if you have allergies or issues with smoking, it won't be for you. If you don't, pull up a stool, order a drink and enjoy the hometown local feel of the places you used to go to when you lived somewhere else.“

“A cute place with awesome views of the ocean and of Springmaid Pier. I ordered a Cobb salad with grilled shrimp. The grilled shrimp was delicious, but the salad was missing the avocado that was mentioned in the menu description. Lots of grape tomatoes and crisp green lettuce, & crumbled delicious bacon among other things on the salad. My husband ordered a crab basket, but he was given the crab sandwich instead so we had to ask the server to bring out coleslaw and hush puppies later. Coleslaw & hush puppies were good. At first, he was confused because our server did bring a crab cake out, but it was on a bun, but there were french fries on the plate which were good, but a tad too salty. My husband thought maybe he read the menu wrong. The server Jennifer was very easy going about making the correction. She had a great attitude. Very friendly. My husband said the crab cake was just okay. We might try Southern Tide again and order different menu items. When looking at the reviews it seems that some people really liked the fish tacos.“

From the moment I walked through the door, I knew this wasn't just another restaurant with a few televisions hanging on the wall pretending to be a sports bar.

This is the kind of place where the food matters, the drinks are cold, the staff knows your name after a couple visits, and every big play somehow feels bigger when you're watching it surrounded by other fans.

The atmosphere hits the sweet spot. Family-friendly enough to bring the kids for dinner, lively enough to meet friends for the game, and comfortable enough that nobody is checking their watch wondering when it's time to leave.

The menu is loaded with crowd-pleasers, but what impressed me most was the consistency. Every plate coming out of the kitchen looked like something you'd be happy to steal a bite of from the next table. Portions were generous, flavors were on point, and nobody left hungry.

Parking was easy. Service was attentive. The restaurant was clean. The televisions were positioned perfectly throughout the building, meaning there really isn't a bad seat in the house.

As a husband and father, I've learned that finding a place everyone agrees on is harder than it should be. One person wants burgers. Another wants wings. Someone wants a salad. Somebody else wants to watch the game.

This place solves all of those problems at once.

The real magic, though, is the atmosphere. By the end of the meal, you realize you're not sitting in a restaurant.

You're sitting in the community's living room.

The place where birthdays are celebrated, victories are cheered, friendships are built, and Monday somehow becomes a little more interesting.

I came in expecting good food and a game on TV.

I left understanding why the parking lot stays full.
