My wife and I are NJ/NYC natives, and had my share of good Italian. Nicola’ is sold…meat, fish, or chicken you can’t go wrong. Plus homemade pasta. Last night I had my summer favorite…. Cavatelli with broccoli. Wine list is broad enough for anyone to find something they like. Wife is celiac, waitress understood what that means, and was totally accommodating.
This has been our fav for many years , consistently good Italian food , great service , home made pasta and the bread and dipping sauce is always so good . Best Italian in Wilmington

Crusty Italian bread to get started. Our pasta entrées were both excellent. The mouse cream puffs & chocolate bread pudding were out of this world! Service was excellent too. A date night winner.
