“We were hesitant to try this place due to some of the reviews. I’m so glad we decided to give them a go. We ordered the Brie pastry as an appetizer along with espresso martinis. For our entrees we ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken pot pie. Truly amazing. The waitress was attentive and the atmosphere was great. We will be back.“
“We recently visited WXYZ with a fairly large group of folks. We clearly brought more people than they were prepared for. The bartender Kyle found another poor sole and those two cranked out beyond expectations. Even when being harassed by some overly self centered patron that was not with the group, Kyle and the other bartender held it together, took his nasty comments, held his temper and kept rolling out drinks and beer!!!! Despite drinking all the cold beer in the place we had an absolute blast !

We didn’t like what we had ordered and he was stand up and wanted us to be happy and let us reorder a different meal at no extra cost. “Sarah is the absolute bomb!
15 years ago, she was at the downtown Slice, and SHE is why I went to lunch there twice a week! 🤦🏻♀ ‘SO-o-o glad I stopped-in tonight and “found” her again at the Porters Neck location! Slice pizza is phenomenal, but when you find a server who is that special, you will go because of her customer service and FUN attitude. ☀

“Slice of Life is life changing! This bar/restaurant is amazing the food was delivered timely and hot. The service was excellent our server was friendly and inviting. At this time they had a lunch special 2 pieces of pizza and pasta salad. The pizza was a thin crunchy crust with a good amount of sauce. The pizza choices were cheese and bacon and ricotta cheese.“

“My first time there was yesterday 2,14,25 went bar hopping with my girlfriend and other couple after Valentine's Day Dinner. This bar was cool no frills good crowd and bartender was great. The prices were super affordable I even asked the bartender when we settled up,is that all ? He said yes and explained the $3 beers . Pleasantly surprised we will be back. Appreciate your hospitality.“
