“Great place to relax and have a beer or specialty cocktail from the master mixologist at the bar. Some great music played by some talented musicians including Fred the master mixologist. On occasion they offer mixologist college courses which are great weather your looking to brush up on making drinks at home or looking to learn a new trade.“

Barbary Coast Bar • $
116 S Front St, Wilmington

“Hands down one of my favorite bars in Wilmington! This bar is the oldest bar in Wilmington and one of the first I came to back in the 90s. Great selection of beer and spirits! The staff is always fast and friendly! The restrooms were clean with plenty of products! If you want to play pool then this is the place for you! I would highly recommend Barbary Coast if you are in the area! You won't find a more down-to-earth or authentic bar in town!!“

The Pour House Bar • $$
103 Market St, Wilmington

“I've only been here a couple of times, but every time I'm in Wilmington it's a destination. Great business concept, although you need to have some discipline or you can unknowingly rack up a large tab, as well as get really inebriated. Basically they have 50? help yourself taps, which include wine, beer, and seltzers. You get a bracelet and "scan" it at the stations of your choice, which begins the pour process. The bracelet tracks the number of ounces and price per pour. I don't know the limit for beer, but you "time out" at around 3 glasses for wine. BUT you can one up or whatever they call it to keep drinking. Yay! They serve food as well, but I haven't tried anything. Cool building, laid back atmosphere. I recommend checking out the daily specials or happy hour to save some $$.“

“this is that neighborhood, whole in the wall bar every one loves and hates on. I've come by here a few times. The crowds are always so different but always entertaining. Some drinks are a little too stiff late at night, but never a dull moment :)“

“The renovations and work put in by the new owners is incredible. They've turned it into a destination style big city nightclub, and cater to 18+ without making them pay college tuition to get in. 21+ has great value in drink prices and tons of fun events during the week.“
