“I have eaten Sushi all over the US as well as Asia and (not to mention) Japan. This place is very authentic and the sushi is just amazing. I only order sushi but my husband always gets a cooked dinner and he says they are amazing as well! The staff is attentive and the sushi chef (I believe owner) is fantastic. I sometimes get supermarket sushi as Genki is not real close to me. I used to appreciate it was “just supermarket sushi” but after Genki (10-12 times) it’s real hard to get a quick supermarket fix. Actually right now I’m salivating!“

“I had a side salad with their homemade ginger dressing. It was the best dressing I have ever had and made a simple salad extraordinary. My entree was the pineapple fried rice with chicken and I can not tell you the last time I had such an outstanding meal and they sell their ginger dressing to go.“

People complain about pricing, but any sit down place is double the price, and the food here is 100% better. Anytime I am in the area I come here, the portions are large, easily 2-3 meals, and the quality is unmatched. They never get my order wrong, and I love supporting local businesses. “I bought Pad Thai no peanuts and chicken. Picked it up and the chicken was so dry the whole dish was. I also bought dumplings had to use that saw on my Pad Thai. Eaten here before always good. This was upsetting $26 for a disappointment didn’t even finish it.“

“I wish I had gotten the name of the girl working the host stand tonight on Friday, June 5, 2026. It was a typical busy Friday night and I called in a somewhat complex order for pickup (I am vegan and they are always willing to make accommodations and substitutions when asked). The girl who took my order was beyond kind and patient. When I arrived to pickup, my food did take quite a bit longer than she initially expected, but I was not upset about it at all as they were busy preparing food for customers who had chosen to dine in, as they should. Everyone still moved quickly and efficiently, and the hostess made sure to check on my food frequently and went out of her way to make sure they prepared my rice last so that it was fresh and hot when I received it. She triple checked that the specific requests I asked for were taken care of before handing over my food. She was VERY sweet and had great customer service that I don't see as often as I used to. I am very grateful for her kindness on such a stressfully busy night. Also, the food is delicious and hot despite my nearly 30 min drive back home. Thank you, Nikki's!“
