“What a delightful find. We have been meaning to try Kuma Sushi bar since we moved into town 4 months ago. We were blown away by the ambience, the wonderful staff and the quality of the food and sake menu. Definitely a repeat visit and added to our list of go to restaurants.“

I grew up in the Havelock/Morehead City area, but after living in New Bern for the past two years, this place has become a favorite for both my husband and me. “Wife thought the Hibachi style shrimp & steak was very good, and loved the white sauce for dipping.....the perfect delicate fried soft-shell crabs as an appetizer. While my Chicken Pad Thai was tasty, it lacked any spicy edge whatsoever and had minimal peanuts and no veg at all. So many ways to assemble pad thai and this wasn't nearly zippy or complete enough for my taste. Not bad, just not my preference. this was our first but will not be our last visit.“

“We just did not feel like cooking so we went to Jade Express in New Bern for dinner. What a great idea! We had the Lo Mein with Bourbon Chicken and Ginger Chicken. Deeeelicious☺. We even had enough for a 2nd meal.“
