“I ate here the other day. The food tasted average for a Chinese restaurant. They give you a lot of food and the service is great. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is small and the music is a little too loud. I would probably eat here again but I’m not going out of my way to come here.“
“They give you a large amount of delicious food for such a decent price. We usually do take out and it's always a smooth process, but the time we invited friends to dine in was also a great experience. Also, gotta love the anime geisha jpeg on the wall ❤️“

“I placed a carryout order and have dined in a few times for lunch. Typical Japanese restaurant. Variety of sushi options. Just wished they had more vegetables that are included with dishes i.e. fried rice only comes with onions, zucchini and peas.“
“The food had big portions like the chicken fried rice. It also comes with not just a salad but a soup which is really good if you're still itching for food. My server was amazing, she had such an eccentric and fun personality and really enjoyed having her as my serving. I truly recommend going to sake and requesting either one of these 2 servers (May or Ree).“
“Where do I start with Kuma Sushi Bar in downtown New Bern?Let’s start with the amazing customer service that I am greeted with everytime I come in. The manager Geoffrey is very kind and will make sure you feel at home when dining in at Kuma. All of the servers are very well-spoken and kind when informing you on their menu, which is very well-made and unique for their location. The setting and tone of the restaurant is very subtle with various Japanese art pieces and displays that really plays into the aesthetic of the scenery. I’m going to revisit this wonderful establishment every chance I get.“
