“We found this restaurant via Google search. We showed up without a reservation(sorry). We were welcomed and offered two seats at the bar. What a fantastic experience. Miranda was our server and there was nothing she could have done to make our dining experience more special. We spoke with the owners, the chef, and several servers, and everyone there made sure our dining experience was perfect. The drinks, the wine, the apps, the food(tuna nachos, crab fritters and shrimp Seoul bowls), everything was spectacular. We are already planning our next visit!”

“Our group of three ate here on a spring vacation. We liked it very much, we ate here twice! The place was small, yet not crowded. No wait for a table! One time there I had bacon and eggs , yummy! Another time there I had the BLT . Delicious! My parents and I enjoyed watching the people walking around the streets outside of our booth window and the restaurant noise level was not too loud. This made it easy for us to talk about our trip plans. The best part was our service was spot on… staff did awesome job on taking orders and getting them not only correct yet also out quick . Thank you KP House for giving us a nice trip memory!”

The Pelican family went out if it's way to make us feel loved and welcome, to the point of tears. “I was in Carolina beach for a business trip and stumbled upon Malama for breakfast. All I can say is WOW! The best coffee I have ever had and I'm a coffee snob. LOL. I also had the avocado toast and it was the bomb!! Now if I can just convince them to open a store here in Charlotte NC.”

“Just a walk up hole in the wall. The two servers that were working were very helpful and extremely personable. We had the butter pecan ice cream and the blueberry cheesecake ice cream. Both were delicious. We then could not resist the funnel cake that they drizzled with chocolate and peanut butter sauce and topped with whipped cream! A definite must go!!”

“My boys and I had dinner here on Saturday after the music festival. There was a short 15-minute wait to get a table, but it was well worth the wait. Our server was wonderful, and on top of everything. We never had to ask for anything, and refills were on the table before we were out. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the raspberry margaritas are the best I've ever had. Definitely going back on my next trip! “My husband and I stopped in yesterday for a beer. We totally enjoyed our time spent there. We were in town on vacation and the workers made us feel very welcome. We met several people and enjoyed more than the one beer we had planned to get. This place is awesome, with lots of draft beer, cans and bottles, different wines, and delicious coffee. I didn't try the coffee but a couple different customers said it was great. If we make it back to this area on another vacation you can bet we'll be found there. Highly reccomend!”

“Bar is actually on the peir. Service is very friendly with welcoming attitude. Calamari was excellent. Prices are reasonable. Enjoyed the outdoor, on the water experience. Only issue was no draft beer available at tiki bar but is available inside restaurant.”

“I highly recommend Top Woke Chinese Restaurant! The owner is always welcoming and friendly, which makes every visit enjoyable. The food tastes authentic and fresh every time, and you can really tell they take pride in their cooking. The restaurant also it’s very clean. “Visited Ocean Grill & Tiki Bar and it ended up being one of my favorite spots on the trip. The location alone makes it worth going, right by the water with a really relaxed beach vibe. It’s the kind of place where you can sit outside, feel the breeze, and just take your time enjoying the food without feeling rushed.

The atmosphere is very laid back and tropical, with the tiki bar style setup and outdoor seating that gives you a great view while you eat. It feels more like a vacation spot than a regular restaurant. We went around sunset and the view made the whole experience even better.

Food was really good, especially the seafood. Everything tasted fresh and cooked right, not greasy or overdone. The grilled fish and shrimp were some of the best things we ordered, and the portions were good size. You can tell they focus on simple food done right. Drinks were also solid, the frozen drinks and cocktails fit the tiki bar vibe perfectly.

Service was friendly and easygoing. Even though the place was busy, the staff kept up with everything and made sure we had what we needed. Nobody rushed us, which I liked, it felt like a place where you’re supposed to relax and enjoy being there.

Prices were about what you’d expect for a waterfront restaurant, a little higher than normal but worth it for the view, atmosphere, and quality of the food.

Overall, Ocean Grill & Tiki Bar is a great spot if you want good seafood, cold drinks, and a nice view all in one place. Definitely somewhere I would go back to if I’m in the area again.”

“My sister and I ate here in late March. There were some locals at the bar, but not very busy for a Friday night. We ordered onion rings that were the best I’ve ever had. The sauce on the side made me want to lick the plate. We both ordered the catfish, which was lightly breaded and exceptional. The slaw was good and it came with yummy hush puppies and fries, as well. Took half of it home in a box. The server was so friendly and quick with everything even though she covered the bar and the dining room. I’m glad we gave this place a try.”
