“We found this restaurant via Google search. We showed up without a reservation(sorry). We were welcomed and offered two seats at the bar. What a fantastic experience. Miranda was our server and there was nothing she could have done to make our dining experience more special. We spoke with the owners, the chef, and several servers, and everyone there made sure our dining experience was perfect. The drinks, the wine, the apps, the food(tuna nachos, crab fritters and shrimp Seoul bowls), everything was spectacular. We are already planning our next visit!”

“Our group of three ate here on a spring vacation. We liked it very much, we ate here twice! The place was small, yet not crowded. No wait for a table! One time there I had bacon and eggs , yummy! Another time there I had the BLT . Delicious! My parents and I enjoyed watching the people walking around the streets outside of our booth window and the restaurant noise level was not too loud. This made it easy for us to talk about our trip plans. The best part was our service was spot on… staff did awesome job on taking orders and getting them not only correct yet also out quick . Thank you KP House for giving us a nice trip memory!”

It's a rough day for my family and we couldn't have asked for a kinder, sweeter, or friendlier group of locals. The Pelican family went out if it's way to make us feel loved and welcome, to the point of tears. “We visited Granny’s Country Kitchen for breakfast this past week while on vacation in Carolina Beach. It was so good! The staff is very nice and very attentive. I ordered the 2 eggs and meat plate and got country ham with it and a gravy biscuit instead of the grits. My son got French toast and he loved it. We ate inside but there is also an area outside with picnic tables to eat. We will definitely visit here the next time we stay in Carolina Beach.”

“I was in Carolina beach for a business trip and stumbled upon Malama for breakfast. All I can say is WOW! The best coffee I have ever had and I'm a coffee snob. LOL. I also had the avocado toast and it was the bomb!! Now if I can just convince them to open a store here in Charlotte NC.”

“island ice factory is a stop we always make when we go to carolina beach. we even had to take our puppy there for his first pup cup, so sweet.”

“Ordered two pizzas to go while in town on vacation - Tuesday night.

Food was ready approximately 15-20 minutes after ordering - so it was super fast at dinner time.

Both pizzas were good and the NY style slices were plenty for 5 adults + 2 kids - we even had pieces leftover.

We'd order from here again if we are visiting another time.”

“Just a walk up hole in the wall. The two servers that were working were very helpful and extremely personable. We had the butter pecan ice cream and the blueberry cheesecake ice cream. Both were delicious. We then could not resist the funnel cake that they drizzled with chocolate and peanut butter sauce and topped with whipped cream! A definite must go!!”

“My husband and I stopped in yesterday for a beer. We totally enjoyed our time spent there. We were in town on vacation and the workers made us feel very welcome. We met several people and enjoyed more than the one beer we had planned to get. This place is awesome, with lots of draft beer, cans and bottles, different wines, and delicious coffee. I didn't try the coffee but a couple different customers said it was great. If we make it back to this area on another vacation you can bet we'll be found there. Highly reccomend!”

“Get the Riko's Sauce wings, because they are amazing! My wife and I split a chef's salad, the wings, and a hot honey pizza. The salad wasn't anything special, but definitely nothing wrong with it. The pizza was VERY good; We love that the sauce. Cheese, and toppings go all the way to the end of the pie. The wings were definitely the highlight, though. Perfectly cooked and an amazing sauce.
Mo was our server and she was spectacular as well!”

“My boys and I had dinner here on Saturday after the music festival. There was a short 15-minute wait to get a table, but it was well worth the wait. Our server was wonderful, and on top of everything. We never had to ask for anything, and refills were on the table before we were out. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the raspberry margaritas are the best I've ever had. Definitely going back on my next trip! Best meal we had on the Island this weekend!”

“I highly recommend Top Woke Chinese Restaurant! The owner is always welcoming and friendly, which makes every visit enjoyable. “This is a sports bar, first and foremost, it is loud, and gets very full of jubilees or angry shouts from fans of teams they're rooting for depending on the situation they are facing on the TV screens. I don't give places 5 stars in atmosphere if there is extreme loudness because the idea is just me rating based on tolerable noise level. That is NOT a count against this place and is NOT me being critical.

Anyway, aside from that, this is a very basic but very nice sports bar and grill and gets very popular on the weekend evenings, you will find yourself sort of waiting for a table if you arrive late by any means. It is worth it though, because the food is fantastic.

What you see here in the image is their BBBBoneless Wings as they title it, tossed in buffalo with celery and ranch. Side of fries that seem to be in a spiral shape. The fries are perfect but so come out quite hot in temperature. The wings are perfect, not at all squishy, weird, or undercooked. The sauce appears cooked within the wing, so you get flavor everywhere. It may be a bit too much for more sensitive folks.

Celery is well, just celery, but it's fresh and crunchy.

I would highly recommend going here during games though, especially when they involved our home college teams like Wolfpack for example.

Servers are very friendly here and I have had a very positive experience with their customer service.

They have outdoor seating too. If you wish to enjoy the elements and avoid the loud noise inside.”

“So glad we went!! I had researched coffee places to go to when we were on vacation in Carolina Beach and I disregarded Majik because they didnt have a website (just a FB & IG page), but I love espresso (so I had mentioned it). We went for a walk the first morning and it was the first spot I saw. We decided to go in and Im SO GLAD we did! They have an amazing menu. Extensive list of espresso drinks and beans (all different flavors). We went there 3 days in a row. I got the Brown Sugar Iced Latte and the Salted Caramel Iced Latte. I saw all the yummy pastries the first day so had go to back and get the Pistachio Croissant (2 in fact, one to share with my mom). The place is very cute. They have nice tables to sit and relax while you wait for your coffee, and they have lots of things for sale. Cute hand made things, beachy things, jewelry. I would have been very upset if we had missed out on this place. We had coffee at other places and Majik was by far the best one! I would definitely recommend grabbing an iced or hot latte/espresso drink from Majik.”

“This is you classic beach dive bar. First off it's Beach Bumz not Sonny's. Cheap beer, cash only, and games. Play shuffle board and pool. Relaxed atmosphere. A great spot to take a break from the heat. 21+”

“My husband and I visited Ocean Grill and Tiki Bar Wednesday night for the first time. We sat over the water and WOW the view was incredible! We shared an appetizer of calamari that was cooked to perfection! Ava was our bartender, she was very kind and shared the history of the pier with us. Overall a wonderful experience.
