“We found this restaurant via Google search. We showed up without a reservation(sorry). We were welcomed and offered two seats at the bar. What a fantastic experience. Miranda was our server and there was nothing she could have done to make our dining experience more special. We spoke with the owners, the chef, and several servers, and everyone there made sure our dining experience was perfect. The drinks, the wine, the apps, the food(tuna nachos, crab fritters and shrimp Seoul bowls), everything was spectacular. We are already planning our next visit!”

“Our group of three ate here on a spring vacation. We liked it very much, we ate here twice! The place was small, yet not crowded. No wait for a table! One time there I had bacon and eggs , yummy! Another time there I had the BLT . Delicious! My parents and I enjoyed watching the people walking around the streets outside of our booth window and the restaurant noise level was not too loud. This made it easy for us to talk about our trip plans. The best part was our service was spot on… staff did awesome job on taking orders and getting them not only correct yet also out quick . Thank you KP House for giving us a nice trip memory!”

It's a rough day for my family and we couldn't have asked for a kinder, sweeter, or friendlier group of locals. The Pelican family went out if it's way to make us feel loved and welcome, to the point of tears. It's a memory that will stay in my mind as among the truest examples of the Christmas spirit I have ever experienced. Thank you 💚”

“Had the pleasure of dining at the Sandspur while we were visiting last week!!! Made sure to check them out again & again could not get enough of the delicious food, they have bands that play on their outdoor area on Friday nights which was really fun, we enjoyed our visit and will plan on visiting again soon!”

“Went for a 10K run right before stopping by on my way out of town - 10/10. Staff was welcoming and acknowledged me immediately upon entering.

Their selections are great and they even have the menu of what is “off top” surrounding the ceiling. A+”

“Custom sales was a nice touch. Fresh bread drinks were good. Wine selection was okay. Would have expected. Seen some more mailbacks to go with the steaks. Steaks were good. Prime rib is better. Most of our chicken dishes are good. We had one chicken order that was overcooked. Pasta and sides were good. Very limited dessert selection. Only two items overall good place.”

“We visited Granny’s Country Kitchen for breakfast this past week while on vacation in Carolina Beach. It was so good! The staff is very nice and very attentive. I ordered the 2 eggs and meat plate and got country ham with it and a gravy biscuit instead of the grits. My son got French toast and he loved it. We ate inside but there is also an area outside with picnic tables to eat. We will definitely visit here the next time we stay in Carolina Beach.”

“I was in Carolina beach for a business trip and stumbled upon Malama for breakfast. All I can say is WOW! The best coffee I have ever had and I'm a coffee snob. LOL. I also had the avocado toast and it was the bomb!! Now if I can just convince them to open a store here in Charlotte NC.”

“Just a walk up hole in the wall. The two servers that were working were very helpful and extremely personable. We had the butter pecan ice cream and the blueberry cheesecake ice cream. Both were delicious. We then could not resist the funnel cake that they drizzled with chocolate and peanut butter sauce and topped with whipped cream! A definite must go!!”

“Every vacation to CB we take we always stop at Michael’s! My son had his first crab cakes here and it’s been a tradition ever since. We make sure to come by everytime we visit!! A staple for sure. It’s always a wonderful time and the staff are always amazing.”

“My boys and I had dinner here on Saturday after the music festival. There was a short 15-minute wait to get a table, but it was well worth the wait. Our server was wonderful, and on top of everything. We never had to ask for anything, and refills were on the table before we were out. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the raspberry margaritas are the best I've ever had. Definitely going back on my next trip! Best meal we had on the Island this weekend!”

“Not right on the ocean, but Brunches in Carolina Beach has the best view—because Kat is behind the bar! 🌞🍹 I stopped in early for a $2.95 mimosa and a fresh seafood protein bowl (yes, breakfast goals 💯). Kat was not only super knowledgeable about the menu, but also shared awesome insight on local history and things to check out around town. She made my morning! “My husband and I stopped in yesterday for a beer. We totally enjoyed our time spent there. We were in town on vacation and the workers made us feel very welcome. We met several people and enjoyed more than the one beer we had planned to get. This place is awesome, with lots of draft beer, cans and bottles, different wines, and delicious coffee. I didn't try the coffee but a couple different customers said it was great. If we make it back to this area on another vacation you can bet we'll be found there. Highly reccomend!”

“Get the Riko's Sauce wings, because they are amazing! My wife and I split a chef's salad, the wings, and a hot honey pizza. The salad wasn't anything special, but definitely nothing wrong with it. The pizza was VERY good; We love that the sauce. Cheese, and toppings go all the way to the end of the pie. The wings were definitely the highlight, though. Perfectly cooked and an amazing sauce.
Mo was our server and she was spectacular as well!”

“Ordered the barnyard dinner for my family (whole chicken, BBQ, choice of 2 sides and either rolls or hush puppies). We had the fried okra, macaroni salad and of course the hush puppies. Everything was delicious. Consistently excellent food. Staff were very professional and friendly.”

“I highly recommend Top Woke Chinese Restaurant! The owner is always welcoming and friendly, which makes every visit enjoyable. The food tastes authentic and fresh every time, and you can really tell they take pride in their cooking. The restaurant also it’s very clean. “we ordered a large pie garlic knots and salad and were very pleased. the garlic knots are massive and the pizza was full of flavor. one of the only places in ten days of eating out that has fresh greens in the salad so props for that”
