The food was delicious, BEST FRIED PICKLES WEVE EVER HAD!!!! If you're vacationing, live local, or simply want a good time, Sunny Daze Smokehouse is where you do it. I'm not going to lie, this location has had its fair share of disappointments. Between the food quality, missing items, and service that sometimes leaves a LOT to be desired, the reviews haven't exactly been undeserved.
But today was different! Food was fresh, everything was there, the order was right, and the service was good. Imagine that!
Credit where credit is due. When they get it wrong, people are quick to say so, self included. So when they get it right, it's only fair to recognize that too.
Hopefully this is the beginning of a trend and not just a one-day miracle! 😉“

“Have lived down here for 5 years. This is the first time we came to Oliver's, and we were not disappointed.! The food was amazing. The server jacqueline, really hustled and bustled with a smile on her face and very, very sweet! My husband is a diabetic and also on dialysis, and has to watch his intake on certain things. And they did his French fries without salt, like we asked, and instead of frying the catfish, he baked it . If I could give jacqueline, a higher than 5 stars. I would .“

“It's been a rough few weeks for small business owners in Southport since the storm and local road issues haven't helped. The other day instead of waiting in traffic I stopped in to check on a friend & fellow restaurant owner at Southport Gourmet and Sushi Bar. Like me at The Saucy Southerner their daily business has been greatly affected and I had an idea I offered the owners. I decided to put together a night with friends and let the restaurant show off a little! Let me tell you!! They showed off big time and made us the most amazing meal!! Our group ate until we couldn't eat any more, and then we ate more!! Everything was fresh, great service and the food was delicious!!! From the sensational appetizers to kick things off, to the second course of some delightful fresh sushi boats and then finished it off with some of their favorite items!! All around we all had a wonderful time and we're grateful to be able to support a local small business during these challenging times. The best part was we beat all the traffic issues, had quality time with friends and made the night a little better for everyone involved! Get out there and support local small businesses and slow down a little. Live life and have fun!!“

“First time my husband and I had ever eaten here and it was delicious and the prices were good. The staff were amazing especially when we accidentally dropped our leftover spaghetti and meatballs. They gave us a brand new one on the house even though they didn't have too and we didn't ask. We will definitely be going back and I recommend this place to anyone.“
