“Best restaurant on the island. All items on the menu are fresh and delicious. Service is great and the owner welcomes every customer as if they are family. The bar is well stocked and drinks are amazing!“

“Great little stop. Don't expect a sit down experience but for the prices, there's really nothing to complain about.

We got the 2/5$ hotdogs and they were delicious. Given the wait time (nothing crazy), you can tell they make the hotdogs as they're being ordered and not having the dogs sit until someone buys one.

It's a great little place to stop by for something quick and on the go. Will definitely visit this place again.“

“My brother and I went there today, since it's the last weekend of the season. We both purchased a single donut and BOTH were mouthwatering delicious ? Hot and fresh! Do not let the "overrated reviews" sway you from coming here. Yes, Britt's is not Krispy Kreme ( which is my personal favorite ), but these donuts are "made to order". It's only one style. You only pay cash for it. They have been in business since 1939, so I guess they have been doing something right.“

“We look love this bakery. The coffee drinks are delicious, and they have milk alternatives for my fellow vegans. They have vegan donuts as well, that are also gluten free. Truth: the old vegan donuts were the best I’ve ever had. The new ones (also GF) are pretty good for a vegan option. But I DO miss the old vegan options, bring them back???? Non vegans: you’ve got so many options to choose from and they are all out of this world! I would definitely recommend this place.“

“We were there on vacation last week and stumbled upon this place. it was delicious. we came 2 nights in a row. Black Cherry was SO good! I could tell that it was a good place due to long lines going out the door both times we went. The girls were so friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this place!“

“Great atmosphere, decor and dining furnishings. Hot rods and historical pics from the area in the fifties. Came in for early lunch and had no issue with table. Food came out at a reasonable time for being made to order.
Plenty of food options. We tried the phillies, burgers and fried shrimp. Fried okra was fresh and crispy, French fries were fresh and nicely seasoned and cold macaroni salad was straight from grandmas cookbook. Fried Oreos and the flavor infused soft serve was a hit with the family.
Service was top notch.
As others noted parties of 5 or more a tip is automatically included (sign on hostess stand) and as with other local restaurants, the fee for credit card use is passed along to the customer. Spent about $30 pp.
parking is easy to find, but quite pricey $20 for 2 hours for the lot behind the restaurant.

“We only tried the bar and the takeaway counter. Drinks were very good at both places. Only had the nachos at the bar and they were pretty weak. Hot dog deals and the drinks at the counter are great deals. Probably the best on the boardwalk. The bar also has great views of the beach and the boardwalk. I'd recommend both options but the counter was definitely our favorite.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome at both places. Our kiddo loved the Nathan's hotdogs they serve at the counter.“
