Our group of three ate here on a spring vacation. We liked it very much, we ate here twice! The place was small, yet not crowded. No wait for a table! One time there I had bacon and eggs , yummy! Another time there I had the BLT . Delicious! My parents and I enjoyed watching the people walking around the streets outside of our booth window and the restaurant noise level was not too loud. We never visit Carolina Beach without coming to Kate’s every morning! Best breakfast/ brunch!
We discovered Kate's during our first trip to Carolina Beach in 2021. We came to love it and have made it a point to go there for every breakfast every time we stay in Carolina Beach. We were just in Wilmington this weekend and decided to get our Kate's fix on the morning back out of the area because we didn't want to miss it.
We love the laid-back atmosphere, how the staff always treat us like we've been going there every day since they opened.
