Pretty great start to the day, ignoring calories. Seriously, this place is great. I imagine you need to stop in early, before they sellout. We got there about 8:30 am - that worked. Meeting rooms were cool (which is a good thing) speakers / all visual aids were up to date / and the catered food by the hotel ....Ahhh mazing!! Ample amount of parking however , the hotel will give you a parking pass 1 per room. Location - In the heart of Carolina Beach. Within walking distance of restaurants/ boardwalk/ ice cream ....you name it!!!“
“I love that this is my neighborhood cafe. They have the BEST fried chicken biscuit I’ve ever had. I love their garlic Parmesan fries with the Alabama white sauce. And not to mention they may have one of the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever tasted. I usually take out but I’ve also eaten in and love the atmosphere and the staff is amazing! I will continue to recommend you to everyone and keep coming for my biscuits!“
“This spot has been on list to try for a while now and I finally got the chance to stop in. It was totally worth the wait. We were greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. I was given a menu but I asked what was a favorite vegan dish. I decided on the owner’s favorite the ramen noodle dish with tofu. This is a ramen dish without a broth and it served with a white creamy goodness sauce!!! They offer a peanut sauce as well but I went with a ginger sauce. To topIt off I got the coconut cake with the blood orange filling…there are literally no words ?…I’m speechless and so happy with my dinner!!!!My expectations were far exceeded!!! The food was outstanding!!! Service was WOW!!!Not that it really matters but the bathroom wallpaper was adorable too.“

“Island Times cafe at Deep Point Marina is a great place to support coming to or from Bald Head Island. The food is delicious and tastes homemade, and definitely worth the stop. My favorite, favorite item on the menu is their breakfast casserole. It is sooo good! It’s a must to eat with hot sauce. Hubby and I also had the coconut cake during our last visit in Oct. It certainly won’t be the last!“
“We enjoyed lunch at this popular local coffee and sandwich shop with a lovely shaded outdoor courtyard.Order at the counter inside and choose a bag of chips or a banana with your sandwich on your way out to your table. They'll bring your order to you.We ordered the Chipotle Jack, which brought the heat in the best way on the most amazing fresh baguette.Our second sandwich was the Sweet Daddy's, since it's their number one best selling sandwich.The cranberry walnut chicken salad was perfectly made with very light mayo. The only disappointing thing was the menu said it was served on a lightly grilled pretzel bun, but it wasn't grilled. I would've chosen a wrap had I known.The setting is wonderful and I definitely want to return for Sunday brunch with live music and mimosas.Friendly service. “Just got a cup of decaf coffee but it was not very hot. I didn’t bother saying anything because I was just so grateful that they were open, had decaf and had pleasant staff working. A couple of minutes later, noticing that he was at the end of the pot, Collin came over to my table and asked if I’d like a new cup from the fresh new pot he was brewing. Now THAT is customer care!!!“
