“A friend and I stopped in on Saturday morning to grab a smoothie bowl before heading to the beach. We had never been before, although I have lived here for three years! This place is messed definitely a gem. I got the peanut butter bowl with whey protein instead of the plant-based protein. It was like a Reese’s cup for breakfast. It’s a cute little shack, really friendly staff, and perfect location! Needless to say, I will be heading back!“

“I came here for the first time today with my husband and two friends. The parking lot was absolutely packed and is not well-maintained so that was immediately a challenge. When we got inside, the line wasn't terrible, and our friends had snagged a table. Otherwise, there was nowhere to sit. The staff were all very nice and definitely working hard. We were able to order quickly, and our food came out pretty quickly. I had the toasted egg wrap which was tasty but was literally half the size of what I would have expected. My husband had the breakfast burrito which he'd been told was huge, but it turned out to be a very small burrito. The food was tasty, but based on the size and cost, we won't be back. There are tons of other amazing breakfast places in Wilmington.“

The owner Tammy is so nice and full of energy. We in fact went twice. “My family and I started a new family tradition at breakthrough nutrition, it was a great time. We all got shakes or a tea and just sat there and talked. We got to catch up after not seeing each other for a while. My one daughter lives in Charlotte so we don't get much time together. I had the cheesesteak with homade chips and ranch dressing with a perfect high top table perfect for conversation 👌 I highly recommend!!“

“Was gifted a drink from a friend on 10/30/25. She brought it to me at a place I was volunteering. Unfortunately, it tasted so bitter and not good. It was an iced latte. I called to tell what happened and ask if I could come get a replacement when I was finished . The person I spoke to was extremely rude asking for a receipt (it was bought by a friend for me). I told her I didn’t have a receipt but I could bring the drink back . She then asked me the name of the person who bought it. I told she paid cash at the drive thru so she wasn’t asked her name. I had to go so I just said “forget it” . I was so aggravated so I called this morning. I spoke to Georgia. I explained what happened, and without hesitation she told me to come for a replacement. She was so friendly. I really appreciated Georgia’s desire to help me!!“

“First time in the area, thought I’d give this place a try . Everyone was nice , especially the guy taking care of us, I believe Justin was his name. He recommended the lemon ricotta pancakes, I was skeptical but thought I would step out of my comfort zone and MAN WERE THEY GOOD! If I’m ever in the area I know where I’m eating for brunch! I hope To come across Justin as my waiter again! My glass was always full! (Which is a big deal for me)“

“This is the best coffee in Wilmington, coming from an avid coffee drinker.. They use Counter Culture coffee beans and always make it strong! Friendly, quick service and they offer a drive-thru. I have already tried almost every coffee shop in town and this one is still my favorite.“

“We stopped on our way to the beach and absolutely loved the cafe! I highly recommend the bagel with veggie cream cheese- soooo good! My toddler was fond of the chocolate chip muffin and my husband enjoyed the breakfast wrap. Hoping to visit again before we leave!“

“I started going to Port City when Starbies decided charging almost 8 bucks for a drink. I like Port City. The Black and Tan is good. Loving their breakfast bagels for sure (which are priced pretty decent for these days). The smoothies are delicious.“
