“A friend and I stopped in on Saturday morning to grab a smoothie bowl before heading to the beach. We had never been before, although I have lived here for three years! This place is messed definitely a gem. I got the peanut butter bowl with whey protein instead of the plant-based protein. It was like a Reese’s cup for breakfast. It’s a cute little shack, really friendly staff, and perfect location! Needless to say, I will be heading back!“

And yes they have wonderful smoothies,with awesome prices,however it really is the wonderful people with the amazing service and personalities that keeps me coming back! There isn’t a day that I have ordered where I haven’t received service that is extremely extraordinary. Not to mention it’s little things like knowing your customers that keep going.“

“I have visited this location several times while visiting Wilmington. Playa Bowl is always a refreshing treat after shopping at Mayfaire. The staff are always friendly and the bowls and smoothies are delicious! I highly recommend stopping by for a treat!“

“My family and I started a new family tradition at breakthrough nutrition, it was a great time. We all got shakes or a tea and just sat there and talked. We got to catch up after not seeing each other for a while. My one daughter lives in Charlotte so we don't get much time together. We had such a great time, it felt like it was we all got a chance to reset for a long week ahead. We will be meeting up there again. Thanks for the good time.“

“It's a very interesting franchise. It only takes two people working. No dine in. Order at the outside counter like they used to do at Dairy Queen's. There are tables to eat your food or drink your drink outside. They also have a drive-through which seems pretty popular. This particular location is next to Trader Joe's and the people there say it's quite good so we're giving it a try. My wife got the green Matcha blend without any flavoring and she says it's very good.
We also ordered some of the mini donuts but they were frozen so the manager came out and said they could substitute the blueberry muffins for it and give us a freebie also so we were satisfied with that .“
