Carolina Beach Pier is a great spot with a fantastic location to enjoy the waves. The bartenders are attentive, and the food is phenomenal. Although the Tiki Bar is currently closed for construction and repair, the High Tide lounge remains open, serving drinks and a limited food menu. The Mahi sandwich is excellent, and hot dogs with gourmet toppings are also available, along with a few appetizers. A bag of chips is the only side option, as there is no fryer. The restaurant maintains a dog-friendly policy with a special menu for furry friends. Live music adds to the atmosphere, with everything from DJs to bluegrass bands almost every night. The location is perfect for both locals and visitors, offering easy parking and a stunning view of the pier. The Cape Fear Pain Killer cocktail is a must-try, alongside delicious hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, and cheese quesadillas. This is a great place to relax and enjoy drinks on the pier.
