My son and I popped in for dinner and the food was awesome. The service was excellent. Ashley S. Was our server. Friendly, happy and went above and beyond by asking the cook to make my son fry sauce. The cook made his version of fry sauce for my son which was better than anything I’ve ever had. Danica O.
This party of 13 from Tennessee wanted some fresh seafood and that’s just what we got!! Along with the friendliest staff you could ask for. The owner, Lori went above and beyond to make sure we had an exceptional experience. This is our 4th year vacationing on the island and I can’t believe this was our first time eating at this hidden gem! We will definitely be back next year!

Salty's Restaurant & Pub is a great place to eat. The food is amazing and the service is great. People love the burger, 2 stack crab legs, Smashburger, tuna steak sandwich, and mushroom swiss burger. The onion rings are also very good. The restaurant has a old school Carolinas beach joint vibe and the staff is friendly. They welcome everyone and make sure they have everything they need. The fried seafood baskets, flounder, fries, slaw, and hushpuppies are all tasty. The restaurant is not trying to be trendy, it's just a friendly place with good local people working there. They have good beers and the server is quick and friendly. Some people like to get the catfish, which is lightly breaded and exceptional. The exterior may look like a dive bar, but inside it's a warm and friendly restaurant with great food and personable staff. People will definitely be coming back to Salty's Restaurant & Pub.
