The flounder and shrimp were good but you don't get a lot. The corn was tough and needed butter and the fries lacked salt.

The vibe was perfect and it made for a great stop during our Wilmington trip. That drink was soooooo good! Food was great but mostly enjoyed the beach atmosphere and friendly service!

Salty's Restaurant & Pub is a great place to eat. The food is amazing and the service is great. People love the burger, 2 stack crab legs, Smashburger, tuna steak sandwich, and mushroom swiss burger. The onion rings are also very good. The restaurant has a old school Carolinas beach joint vibe and the staff is friendly. They welcome everyone and make sure they have everything they need. The fried seafood baskets, flounder, fries, slaw, and hushpuppies are all tasty. The restaurant is not trying to be trendy, it's just a friendly place with good local people working there. They have good beers and the server is quick and friendly. Some people like to get the catfish, which is lightly breaded and exceptional. The exterior may look like a dive bar, but inside it's a warm and friendly restaurant with great food and personable staff. People will definitely be coming back to Salty's Restaurant & Pub.
