I don’t even know how this is considered “healthy” food… because it tastes WAY too good 😮🔥
We just ate at Peño Mediterranean Grill and I’m still thinking about that chicken.
Perfectly cooked. Juicy. Seasoned just right—like whatever they put on it, they better NEVER change it.

I was in Wilmington and saw this restaurant offered Door Dash. The food was AMAZING! I ordered the tomato and avocado salad, falafel and baklava; Everything was so fresh and delicious! Highly recommended!
We absolutely love Peño! It’s a healthier “fast food” that offers vegan and non vegan options but still feels like comfort food. The salads are fresh and beautiful. The owners are so lovely and make us feel more like we’re friends than customers. We always look forward to seeing them. The staff is always kind and accommodating. The dining area and bathrooms are always clean.

Based on the reviews, Peno Mediterranean Grill serves the best Mediterranean food in the area. The food is fresh, flavor-packed, and tastes WAY too good to be considered "healthy." The chicken is perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned just right. The Babaganush is pretty good, and they have good humus, pita bread, and lentil soup. The gyros and other selections are pretty good and not that expensive. The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and very wide. The service is great with always friendly faces, and the owners are super friendly and truly care about the quality of food. The food is consistent and delicious every time. This is the best healthy food in North Carolina. The location is in a very good area surrounded by stores. If hungry, do not think twice—come here for the best food and hospitality.
