Terrible food, insane prices. Beyond overpriced even if it is on bald head.

Atmosphere is nice right on the marina. Food falls flat and is really expensive compared to island competitors. A Diet Pepsi was $4.75…

I have not left more than one or two reviews on google before but I had to say something after our experience here for the first and only time. This has earned a spot on our top three worst restaurant meals. We are not extremely picky eaters and were looking for a basic dinner with friends after a day at the beach. My husband and I ordered the fish and chips thinking that is always a safe bet at any coastal restaurant to be decent/hard to mess up however when it arrived it stank so badly of old fish I couldn’t even take more than a bite. This was fried fish mind you and it still smelled horrible. The bite I did take was absolutely awful and almost made me sick-I had to push the plate to the far side of the table. It tasted like it had definitely gone bad. My plate was 20 my husband’s with shrimp was 40 and neither of us ate our dinner. The server then came to our table at the end and said she automatically applied a 23% gratuity to our party of six table but that we could always add more tip if we wanted which seemed pretty bold given that she commented we hadn’t eaten our food. Our friend who had celiacs also waited ten minutes beyond when we were served for her salad which was 25$ and was straight romaine lettuce leaves with four or so cherry tomatoes and that was all. She was handed a hidden valley ranch packet and told that was the dinner size salad. Once tip was paid that experience came to 80$. Once we left my husband and I went back to our beach house and ate Costco hot dogs to try and redeem the night. Never again.
Edit to owner response: We dined on October 26th around 8pm, we don’t remember the server name but can provide receipts from the night.

Amazing little eatery on the island. Food was amazing and served hot / fresh. Chef has a unique flair to each dish. A bit busy for this time of year but the service was on top of their task. A little pricey but well worth it.

Family trip to BHI. Island life. Not heavily trafficked or touristy. Very refreshing and laid back atmosphere. Great view, food, and family time!

The bartenders are phenomenal, Jules (the owner) was very attentive to all the tables and patrons needs, much less the fresh seafood is the bomb! Period!!

I understand the pricing of food reflects having to ship the food to the island & the cost of doing business. Beautiful location & service was decent. Food was okay.
I was seated by a kind host with my party of 3 but after 20 minutes of no service we moved to the bar. When time came to order the bartender simply would not answer questions about the menu.. so WEIRD! Food was less than subpar, I have had cafeteria food exceedingly better. The “blackened shrimp” was raw/not de-veined and all of our dishes missed listed menu items. We tried to discuss our parties dissatisfaction with the bartender and he walked away mid-conversation. Such a disappointment compared to the prestigiousness of the rest of BHI. There’s more I could say but I’ll leave it here.

Disappointed, not a first class restaurant, slow service, food was not up to par, overpriced for what you get, will not return.

Went here yesterday and this place was awful. They were missing a ton of things on the menu and the drinks we ordered were 99% ice. All the food we ordered was extremely soggy (especially the fried foods) and had no flavor. The food we ate was extremely greasy and soggy so the breading was falling off of everything. Our server was nice, but she only came by once to check on us. We had to flag down a host to get sauces and napkins even though the place wasn’t busy at all. The food was also very expensive, which is expected to some degree, but especially given the quality of food served.

The servers themselves were pleasant, and the location was pretty - but the server sections are clearly too large, and they are overworked.

First off the food is not just overpriced it is some of the worst Food I've ever put in my mouth. We had a party of 10 and everyone's food was terrible. For my two daughters and I are bill was over $150 for literally the worst Food I've ever had. The waitress was nice and the atmosphere was okay but I can't say enough bad things about their food. This place needs to be on Restaurant Rescue or something of that nature they definitely need help. I don't know who's working the kitchen but they apparently have a pallet that of a cow.
