It was not good. General Tso’s was so salty it burned. The beef in the beef lo mein was very dry, the noodles were fine. Nothing was worth the wait and the price.
It was quite good the sevice was a bit slow but the food was good. Overall it was a good experience and it would have been better if we dis not go the second it opened. Aswell the hate for this restaurant is annoying because other that some small things it is quite good.

I suggest you find another place to eat. Food was right out of a box and warmed up. Could not finish it. Asked for utensils to eat with. Response was “we don’t have any but I could look around in the back and try to find some if you want me to.” We ate our stir fry with spoons from the ice cream shop next door. Disappointing for Bald head Island.

We bought 4 things for lunch that totaled $57. The food was really good, particularly the beef and broccoli. The only negative thing was that it took a long time to order. The server was very nice. Everyone liked their food. We read the reviews and many of them were negative but our experience was very different! Out of the restaurants on the island open during the off season, this is one of our favorites. We would recommend Side Wok.

Before ordering food from here, I went up to the restaurant and asked if they were open until 8 (which is what the sign outside the restaurant stated) and the lady working the register said yes, so we decided to come back for dinner later that night and ended up ordering 5-6 items that totaled to $112. Right after paying the lady at the register said that it would be about a 30 minute wait, which I was fine with, but apparently the other person working was not happy about. They freaked out and said they they are only open until 7 and was upset at us for ordering so close to closing time (paid at 6:15). After this altercation, me and the rest of my family headed home to wait for the food to be prepared. After about 20 minutes, I headed back up to the restaurant to retrieve our food and brought it back to the rental. As everyone was looking for their items they ordered, we noticed that the sesame tuna we had ordered was not in the bag. After going back for the 3rd time we received the missing item without any issues and finally made it back. The food wasn’t worth the price we paid for it but was not bad. It seems that the restaurant is better on less busy weekends and not as close to closing time but still not an excuse for the service and issues that we faced. I would not recommend unless prices change.

Inedible. The hot and sour soup had lots of soy sauce added, making it black. It was soo bad that the rest of us in the house tried it and we all laughed. I also got fried rice, which wasn't too terribly bad. It wasn't great either. The guy at the take out window asked if we wanted to give him a 20% tip. Lol..

Absolutely the worst food you could get, we literally thew everything out- what a complete waste of time and money- even the rice was terrible, mushy with no flavor- I honestly would give this place zero starts.

Whoever owns this restaurant should be ashamed to be a business owner. The man working told us he put sauce in our bag-which he didn’t. So no sauce. That’s first. Second, before i was even finished ordering (4 things that totaled $100) he asked me if i wanted to leave a 20% tip. How classless and honestly offensive. Third, the food had no flavor, the noodles tasted like cardboard. Food at this price range and quality is inexcusable. I am well connected in the business and called my buddy Ron Wheeler. Needless to say he did not have anything good to say about this restaurant. I actually fed my food to the alligator at the villas, and HE spit it out. Unreal.

Food had no flavor. Chicken was so dry. The pictures on the website do not reflect what you receive. Tasted like a frozen dinner from the grocery store. Gross, won’t be back!

Beef stir fry was watery like curry. The tables and space was unclean. I wouldn't go back.

The crab rangoon is really good. They actually felt hand made and have a large amount of meat in them compared to the cream cheese. The Tsos chicken though is just Tyson chicken nuggets in store bought Tsos sauce. It's.. kinda meh.

Very spicy food. Even from the kids' menu.

For the price. I expected a lot better tasting food. The rice had way to much soy sauce. The beef lo mein tasted like it had bbq sauce on it. The General TSO's Chicken tasted off. It tasted like the one you get from the deli at Walmart. I should have listened to the reviews. The wonton soup had little to any flavor. Overall disappointed. Wasted money.
