visited for my first time Monday 7/29 even though I have visited the general area for years. I'm up here on work, but was pleasantly welcomed in and Kate made fantastic suggestions that perfectly suited me beer tastes. I look forward to visiting again
Great beer selection, wonderful staff, and relaxing environment. We will definitely be back.
Amazing people, beer, service, and vibe. Easily the top spot for a beer in the area.

Blind Elk Tap Room is a local favorite in Banner Elk, offering a welcoming atmosphere and a great selection of brews, including Prosecco on tap. The friendly bartender and locals create a cozy environment, perfect for a casual night out. The ambiance strikes a balance between rustic charm and modern comfort, making it an ideal spot to unwind. While the live music upstairs can get loud, the drinks are good, and the atmosphere is laid-back. The space is not large, but it features comfortable seating areas both inside and out, making it a great spot to socialize. Visitors praise the great beer selection and friendly staff, with many enjoying recommendations from the bartender and feeling very welcomed. The place also has many TVs, perfect for watching football games. Limited food options include bags of chips, popcorn, hummus, and pimento cheese, but the focus remains on the beer and enjoying time with friends. Overall, the staff is knowledgeable and helpful, contributing to the inviting vibe that keeps people coming back.
