Functional eating at best. Chicken was very dry, brisket dry. Everything was too spicy, even the Alabama white sauce, which shouldn’t be spicy at all. French fries and sweet potato fries were good, green beans were ok, collards were good.

My wife and I had the combination platter with pulled pork, sausage and ribs. Delicious! The waiter was also very friendly and combined with the ambiance of the place will definitely have us returning at some point in our trip.

We had ate at another Peddalin Pig the night before. It was so good we decided to stop at another one. Same great food and service. Brisket was delicios as usual.

This place was delicious! And the service was insanely fast and the waitress was very helpful. The Pork shoulder tray was so so good. Hushpuppies were delicious and my kids pulled pork sandwiches were great! The only critique I have was that my wife's beef brisket sandwich was insanely salty, like dehydrate yourself salty. I'm not knocking them because I'm assuming that was a mistake that was missed. I can definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area. When we come back, we will definitely be stopping here.

I love Brunswick Stew & Half Chickens, after seeing that option on NUMEROUS menus from Pedalin Pig Website. I drove off the mountain I live on 30mins from Boone. I spent the afternoon driving TO EVERY Pedalin Pig Location. I walked in and asked the staff and NO PEDALIN PIG LOCATION HAS BRUNSWICK STEW OR HALF CHICKENS even though it's on there menus. So I wasted my afternoon trying to get food they said they offered on the Menu and didn't. I guess they figure put everything on the website menu and then by the time customers spend gas and time to get there, they will settle and eat anyways even though they don't have the options for food they said they did. That's Bad Business in my book, ya don't offer options for a meal and then not even make that at the restaurant. Just trying to help others not show up thinking they will have meal options that the restaurant says they offer but DO NOT EVEN MAKE..., I was not happy I wasted my day trying to eat a meal option or dish they said they had bit do not even make..,
This was an amazing BBQ restaurant!! The portion sizes were the perfect size to make you eat it all and not feel like you were going to bust a gut. Our two small kiddos loved the BBQ meat and sauces as well. Very friendly staff, made us feel at home and regulars even when we are out of state from Missouri.
