Reid's Cafe and Raw Bar provides an outstanding high-end restaurant experience with a wonderful atmosphere. The service is consistently described as wonderful, great, attentive, and outstanding. The food and drinks are delicious, amazing, great, phenomenal, and very well prepared. Specific highlights include the stunning oysters, noted as better than some in Charleston, the chargrilled oysters, and the steak frites with amazing sauce. The duck and spice cake are also phenomenal. The chef receives praise for accommodating requests, such as making the pasta of the day vegetarian, and for dedication, even grilling outside in cold weather.
While entrees range from approximately $30 to $60, some items like the steak frites or hanger steak can be a tad pricey or slightly imperfect, but the overall experience is excellent. It is a perfect spot for a Valentine's Day dinner, a date night, a special occasion, or an après-ski meal. The establishment is highly recommended, with many guests stating they will definitely be back and find any reason to return.
