Wonderful dinner celebrating my husband's birthday tonight at Primo. The food is always amazing as well as the atmosphere. Our server, Sarah did a great job!!! Thank you for such a lovely evening!

Very few reviews. These people are not reputable. I suspect reviews are made by them. Not a good place.

This place goes above and beyond to provide the best experience possible. Whether it is Chef's Table with exceptional food or Primo with excellent staff and cocktails, this place is remarkable. The management and servers understand customer service and you are guaranteed a great experience.

Beautiful setting in BE town square with excellent food. We love Sorrento's.On our second visit for this stay we enjoyed the Mussels marinara appy and then the Salmon and Shrimp. Irving was our server and was charming and watchful for all our dining needs. While it is apparent the Villages train their staff well, Irving has been trained by familia influences as well. His personality is so comfortable and added to our enjoyment of our dining experience.

This meal was possibly one of the best meals I've ever had in the United States. From the crispy Brussels sprouts appetizer to the grilled ceaser salad the entree's the wine the pork was tremendous the crispy duck was tremendous the pasta with mushroom sauce delicious we had extra shrimp added amazing the flaming dessert the wine everything was reasonably priced that music was charning - I cannot recommend it more strongly.

We have visited “ The Village” Multiple times over the last few years. We love the pizza and delicious pasta dishes from Sorrento’s. The atmosphere is great just to sit at the bar and have some drinks as well.We especially love Chef’s Table! We very much enjoy the ambience and the phenomenal entertainment. Drinks are always wonderful and the food is always top-notch. The food is fresh and always prepared perfectly. They have a very unique dessert and coffee experience that is a must try. You can’t go wrong with any of the dining options in The Village.

Great experience at Primo. The atmosphere was comfortable, yet refined. The waitstaff was attentive and helpful. Each staff member took pride in their craft. Hats off to Parker for great wine selection and expert mixology. Tyler was very attentive and the flambe chef entertained the entire room. Definitely a diamond of a find in Banner Elk.

We had reservations forThanksgiving. The menu consisted of 3 entrees. We were informed after being seated that 1 of the 3 entrees was no longer available. VERY DISAPPOINTED! No one wanted anything else on the menu.

Decided to try Primo since it use to be Barra (sports bar). So glad we did. We loved our meal & evening here. Drinks were amazing. Our waiter was attentive & friendly. Loved the chandeliers. The salad we shared was a great size & delicious. The garlic knots are addictive! Our meals were delicious. Even had dessert - tiramisu was perfect. We are thinking that we will dine here way more often than when it was Barra.

Angela P was our server, at Sorrento's and I cannot say enough about the excellent service Angela gave my son and I, last week. She was one of the best servers that I have ever had anywhere! Sorrento's food was delicious and well-priced for the quality of the food. I will definitely dine here again and highly recommend Sorrento's and Angela to all of my friends!

My wife and I made a spontaneous decision to get some dinner while we were travelling through Banner Elk, NC, and ended up choosing to eat at Sorrento's Italian Bistro. From the moment we were seated, the experience was phenomenal. Our server was Connor, who made every effort to ensure that we had everything we needed, and that our appetizers and entrees were brought out quickly. Connor made sure to check in every so often as well to top of our drinks and to box up leftovers as we moved from dinner to dessert. The food itself was fantastic; the calamari was the best that I have had since moving to North Carolina, and the parmigiana was cooked expertly, with a bed of pasta that was delicious as well. Our cappuccinos and cannoli topped off the evening, and Connor even threw in a few extra garlic knots for our to go box, which was an unexpected treat when we got home. There was literally nothing that was wrong with our meal, our service, or the price for dinner, and I will most assuredly be back to eat at Sorrento's again!!

I am torn on this review. While the food was very good, the atmosphere very nice, and the jazz band excellent, there were several quirks to overcome, unexpected, and then the bill. When I looked on line and found the menu under Chef's Table, it was extensive, however, it is not the menu for upstairs at Chef's Table, it was for Sorrento's downstairs. The upstairs menu, however nice, was very limited compared to the downstairs, but we stayed. We were told as we were walking up the stairs that there would be a $20 cover charge for the band, we thought, ok. Nope...$20 per person. The only dessert option is flambe, at $20 per dessert, we shared one... it was very good. So...a $40 bottle of wine, $40 in cover charges, rather expensive menu offerings...we each had an appetizer and an entre (shared one dessert) came to $277. Ouch, for Banner Elk. Recommend? For an expensive one time dinner, sure.... return? Most likely not to the upstairs.
