They have stepped up their game. We had a great meal last night. The sunset was incredible. The restaurant and bar are first class and beautiful. Our server was top notch.
Our new favorite!! We love this place!..... We came in on Christmas night and again this past weekend with friends. The food is superb, the wait staff has been great both times and the drinks are on point! It's also close to our new place! We will be back many times over! Keep up the good work
We reserved a table for 10 AM for breakfast. The food was delicious! We had the same waiter from the night before. They were not wearing name tags so we don't know his name. But he was excellent both the night before and in the morning! We requested a table by the window, the view was wonderful! Everything from the coffee to the fig preserves was excellent! Best stone ground grits we've tried! There were a lot of guests in the hotel for the holiday so the noise level was probably noisier than usual, but not bad at all. And Very clean.
We went on New Years Eve, the food wasn't hot and it was good but not great. It was so crowded and it took a long time to get our food ,and a very long time to get drinks from the bar. I do like the fact that they had party favors to help usher in the New Year. The band was good , but music was alittle too mellow for a New Year vibe.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at 30 Degrees North in Beaufort, North Carolina. Our waitress, Molly, was amazing — incredibly efficient, knowledgeable, and truly a professional through and through. She took such great care of us.
The food was very good, and we were pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced the meals were. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and one of the best parts was that it wasn’t too noisy — we could actually enjoy real conversation.
Overall, this is a great spot and truly a little hidden gem that many people may not know about. Highly recommend visiting 30 Degrees North if you’re in the area!
We had our annual ladies holiday lunch for 14 people here this year. It had been quite a while since I had been here, and I was very pleasantly surprised. I had a great 34 North Burger that was perfectly cooked to order with excellent fries on the side. I was the DD so didn't get a drink, but the other ladies were very happy with the flavor, presentation and price of their selections. But it was really our waitstaff, Molly, who made our outing special. She was so friendly, helpful, and service-oriented, including being happy to do individual checks for us - truly a very customer-centric professional.

Atmosphere was lovely, food tasted great. Unfortunately, hours later the two of us got sick with food poisoning. For what seems to be a high end restaurant I am surprised that we both got sick from something that we ate. The waitress was nice but could have been more attentive - for a slow night it seems they could’ve checked up on us more.

First, our waitress was top notch and added to our celebration by offering to photograph us. Ambience was perfect. I was disappointed with the limited selections available as I had previewed the dinner menu on-line and didn't see a separate luncheon menu. The fries were delicious. My husband asked for well done burger, but it had “pink” inside which he doesn't like. My shrimp tacos were tasty, but I would have liked more slaw topping. The lovely day and location on water did add to the overall experience.
We were staying at the hotel for our anniversary and made a reservation for dinner. It was just ok. I am gluten free and when I asked about the shrimp and grits the server said “grits are not gluten free”. They most definitely are - Generally shrimp and grits are or can be made GF…it’s one of my regular go to orders. I didn’t want to have a big hassle about the food on our anniversary so I ordered a steak (without the sauce because she said it had gluten), med well and it was bleeding. Everything else was good, but it just didn’t feel very special and services was mediocre. I probably wouldn’t come back because the server was not educated on gluten. The server told me she would mark my gluten allergy well because the kitchen doesn’t always pay attention. I expected better service and care for the price.

We came just in time to enjoy a few new menu items. Everything was delicious and our server Shannon was super helpful at helping us decide on what to try. Looking forward to our next visit already.

It was not great. The food was not seasoned whatsoever most of the food was very bland. The sweet potato puree was alright because the sweet potatoes have a good flavor already. Mustard greens no seasoning, over priced chicken was cooked well and the glaze was okay... But it was chicken. Biggest disappointment was the steak again no flavor they should have just put A1 on the table. Crab cake was decent. The pork belly appetizer was alright. If your in Beaufort, NC I highly recommend Blue Moon over 34 North. We were kind of in a desperation spot because it was Sunday night and not much else was open. Plus we were staying at the Beaumont Inn so it was convenient.
34 North is amazing! The restaurant is clean and beautiful! Very sleek! There is an amazing view of the water and great place to take pictures! The food is delicious. I’ve been there for lunch and dinner and both are great!

Jamie was our server. He was amazing. He had to recover from the hostess seeing bothered to have to seat us. Jamie made the evening. Kitchen staff did amazing because the food was wonderful.
We absolutely love 34 North Restaurant. Upon arrival we were seated promptly at a table with a great view of the Rachel Carson Preserve across the waterway.. Our drinks were prepared and served soon after our order was placed. For appetizers we ordered crabcake and porcini mushroom soup which were both excellent. For our entrees we had shrimp and grits and a scallop dish. Again, both were excellent and served promptly from the kitchen so that they were hot and fresh. We would both recommend 34 North to anyone.
Food quality was very good. Shanna our server was highly attentive, pleasant and funny and took great care of us.
