Blackbeard's Grill and Steam Bar

Had a 7:00 reservation and was seated at 7:00 in back room in corner. Sat there until 7:15 when another party was seated behind us. They were immediately waited on by (Tracey) who told us someone would be with us shortly. At 7:20 waitress(Amy ) asked if we had been waited in. Of course we said no and been waiting 20 minutes. She admitted she was not assigned our table but saw us sitting. Amy was excellent but I will not be eating here any time soon.

We had a wonderful experience at Blackbeard's! Our server Lori was absolutely fantastic - personable, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food came out fresh and surprisingly quick, and the quality was excellent throughout our meal. The service was top-notch from start to finish. We'll definitely be returning!

2nd time here and just as amazing as the first time. Not only is the food delicious but the staff is spectacular! Came for Halloween night and even got a goodie bag. Thank you to our awesome server that was dressed as a cute scarecrow. Definitely coming back!

This is the best local seafood restaurant in Carteret County in my opinion. They source all of their seafood through their market next door. I usually get the fried shrimp platter and I can never eat all the shrimp. I love their fried okra for a side instead of fries. My wife had the shrimp and grouper bite combo last night and she took half of it home. Our daughter had the shrimp Alfredo and said it was delicious. We split some Oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer. They were delicious.

This place has the best crab dip I've ever eaten and I'm not really crazy about crab dip... but it was so delicious. The staff is extremely courteous and treats you just like family. Everything was delicious at a great value and you get a ton of food for your money. 10/ 10 would recommend.

Great local seafood and a good bar. Fish market next door owned by the same family. Pass them at the commercial docks almost every day getting fresh seafood.
