Great dining experience. Came for the Carteret County Restaurant week and the three course meal was delicious ; oysters, deviled ago caesar salad and shrimp pasta. Difficult choices from the regular menu options everything sounds amazing. Enjoyed the lemon cake dessert. Blue Moon Bistro continues to be the best dining experience in the county imo.
Always an outstanding dining experience. My wife and I don't dine out often but we do love this bistro.
We went early before the restaurant was full and it was a lovely setting — calm, quiet, and cozy. It started to get slightly noisy around 7 but not uncomfortable and you still enjoyed your experience. THE FOOD! It was absolutely delectable. Both my husband and I had one of their specials. All the flavors of each component of the meal complimented each other perfectly and were made to perfection. The farm to table made the meal exquisite with everything so fresh. And Judy made my night, allowing me to curate the most delectable dessert using components from their dessert menu. Highly recommend!
As always, we had a wonderful dinner and experience. Amber was our server and was great, as always. See you soon. Trina
Visited New Year's Eve 25/26 with a 7:00 pre-set reservation. Ended up at a high top in the bar in front of a blaring speaker. The entire restaurant is overwhelmingly loud. I have sensory challenges and regretted not bringing my noise dampening earplugs. The sound level was actually painful. Our waitress was on the ball, talented and one of the best servers I have ever experienced, bar none. To further add to the chaos, folks who arrived early for reservations were “parked” at the two top behind my partner- groups of all sizes- which added to the noise and chaos. There was a party of 6 seated at the bar who complained of their predicament, but added to the cacophony, running back and forth to touch base with one another. Evidently, if you didn't have a reservation, you were turned away- UNLESS you were a “regular” or a town “name” then outdoor tables were dragged into the dining room to accommodate your inebriated, over entitled group. The food was simply amazing. The scallops and tuna steak were cooked to perfection. I didn't care for the caramel crème brûlée, but the Dubai martini was exquisite. All in all, know that you will need earplugs and patience on holidays and you should be fine.
Fried oysters were great. French onion was wonderful. Short Ribs were unusually rich, which I love. Great new year's dinner. Thank you.
We had the lobster soup it was great. The Cesar salad was great especially with the deviled egg. Liked the egg so much we ordered 4 more. The tomato tart was fantastic. And the Bison Ribeye was the best.
What we couldn’t understand was why have such bad bread served with the meal it didn’t fit the rest of the meal.

Outstanding menu selections. Extremely knowledgeable servers. Absolutely delicious food! You won't be disappointed!
Love Blue Moon Bistro! My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary with a delicious dinner. We started with the lobster bisque. I had the seared scallops and my wife ordered the blackened tuna. Everything was excellent. Service and cocktails were excellent as well.
We had an absolutely exceptional dinner at Blue Moon Bistro in Beaufort, NC The atmosphere was charming and cozy, and the service was top-notch. Every single dish was perfection. We started with the creamy lobster bisque and the excellent cold liver pâté app with pickled veggies. The Caesar salad was fresh and crisp dressing perfect, but the highlight had to be the secret orange marmalade butter served with their fresh bread—genius! We shared the fish special for our main course, and it was cooked flawlessly. A fantastic fine-dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Drop what you're doing and make a reservation. Then go here. This place is amazing.
The drinks are fantastic. The food is delicious. It's a little crowded, but that's only because every seat in the house has someone in it tantalizing their tastebuds.
I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order here. Just awesome. Keep up the great work!!!

I drove from Raleigh to celebrate my birthday in Beaufort and at Blue Moon. Wow! I’d put this place up against the best restaurants back home. The setting is as romantic as it gets—tucked in a historic home on a quaint street. We started with fantastic cocktails, tomato tart (that crust was insane), I had the seared tuna with winter vegetables, and my partner had the fillet. Everything was just fantastic—the presentation, flavors, balance. A lovely evening all around.
