I usually have horrible experiences when it comes to eating out so I just don't go anymore. I decided to come out to City Kitchen for my Grandmother's birthday. I am so glad I did. From the atmosphere, to the service, to food, it was just fantastic! A+ service and awesome food! The overall experience crushed all of my expectations. The waitress made us feel like we were the only ones there even though she had many tables. I left with a huge smile on my face. The overall experience exceeded all expectations.

I really wanted to like this place. All the reviews are great and it was recommended. The atmosphere is cool. We were sat at the bar and had good service but the food was underwhelming for the price. It wasn't bad, but there are so many other options in the area for quality food at a more reasonable price.

This place was a top dining experience on a recent weekend getaway to Beaufort. My husband and I were deciding between a few fine dining options, and after some research settled on CK. So glad we did! The restaurant itself is lovely, service is excellent. And the food: incredible. The house ciabatta with rosemary infused oil was a great start. The beet salad was a generous portion and tasty. But the entrees stole the show! I got the airline chicken (which I normally wouldn't pick, but had seen rave reviews for it online) and it was out of this world. Coconutty, spicy, flavorful, succulent. I'll be thinking about it for weeks!! My husband got the fish cakes, also excellent! Another dish with great execution and sauces that elevated the fish to another level. Sticky toffee pudding is not to be missed for dessert. It was raining the day we went, so tiki bar was closed, but we'll definitely be back on our next trip!!

This was our first time visiting City Kitchen and we will definitely be coming back. Their craft cocktails are some of the best in Beaufort, we tried the Paloma and Bees Knees (substitute the gin for Vodka), the Korean BBQ tacos, Fish cakes (using triggerfish) and the Fish special (triggerfish topped with arugula salad over a cream sauce) and then a pumpkin dessert. When you eat here, be sure to request an outside table around sunset for a great view of the setting sun while looking at the boats in the harbor. The service was top notch and knowledgable of the menu. Prices were on the higher side for the area, but definitely worth it!

The Food is great. The restaurant itself is very small inside. Cute atmosphere and very pretty though. Also it's a very limited menu. A bit pricey.

My wife and I celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary on the City Kitchen porch, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Upon our arrival, we were promptly seated. Our server Bailey was both charming and knowledgeable. She gave us excellent suggestions from the menu and allowed us plenty of time to make our selections and enjoy each course. We highly recommend the heirloom tomato and burrata salad, the Oysters Rockefeller appetizer, the Caribbean-style grouper and the filet medallions of beef entrees. The sunset view from the porch was lovely, and as the evening progressed, the harbor lights were magical. Don’t miss this experience - make your reservation well in advance.

Our family of four decided to try City Kitchen. So glad we did! I had the Airline Chicken..delicious! The curry was butter and not strong especially good with the fig chutney. My husband was skeptical but ended up eating the hamburger steak...excellent! Both dishes delivered on flavor! We decided on several desserts too. 3 out of 4 were made by the chef and were delicious. Christy was our server and did an excellent job explaining the specials and taking care of our needs. Our first visit but definitely not our last to City Kitchen!

My husband and I ordered the featured oyster appetizer as well as the featured red snapper entree. We also had the brownie for dessert with coffee. The food was great, as was the service from Lisa! The atmosphere on the deck overlooking the marina was beautiful. This was my favorite dining experience in the area thus far.

Could be the best food in the Boufurt, Morehead, Atlantic Beach area. If there is something better, I haven't found it. I saw my server randomly in a grocery store a few days later, and she was so friendly she said hello and asked how I was doing. Hopefully, you're lucky enough to dine there when the weather is nice. The deck tables are awesome, and the sunsets can be amazing, too.

Have been to City Kitchen many times over the last several years. Food, service and ambiance awesome. Red wine selection by the glass very limited. If you order a glass of wine, they serve it in a small glass like wine glass. If you order a bottle of wine, they serve it in a nice stem glass. Suggestion, serve wine in the same glass regardless if you order a bottle or not! The wine poor by the glass, very small for what you pay for dinner. I am a white wine drinker and my wife is red wine, so not buying two bottles of wine
Just something so simple for a nice place as City Kitchen!!
