Such a fun place and everything was delicious! The service was great!
Spent the week in EI with my 18yr old granddaughter and her friend and had dinner out every evening and Clawson’s was voted #1 best meal. I agreed 110%🏆
Check your bill. They used my credit card to pay another party’s bill. Theirs was more.
Clawson’s has been a family favorite for ~25 years. Quality is great, service is excellent.
The food is good, nice service ..
Go there often
Love this restaurant and the town!
This place is nostalgic. It smells like a part of history. Everything from the staff to the atmosphere to the food is fantastic
Ate there last evening I look on line full rack of ribs 29.50 well it was market cost me 43.75 not good big difference
Terrible food. Menu says baby back ribs and we got ribs with lots of “grissle” and connective tissue. We were starving so ate what we could ( ends we couldn’t were too hard to eat). Was hardly anything. Told server, she got the manager about it and she came to the table said we were used to eating baby back ribs and theirs were Pittsburgh style, which my friend is from PA and has never heard of that, we even looked it up and nothing. Also after going back over the menu it clearly stated “baby back ribs “. Gaslighting at its finest. She wouldn’t take them off the check, only $10, they were $24.99. Beans tasted like they were out of a can, and the seafood bisque says full of scallop and shrimp, it was actually clams and the smallest shrimp I have ever seen. Server was great and that’s about it.
Our group met in the private room, which was spacious and beautiful. We were all able to hear each other (important in a writer's group), and our server did an amazing job of handling food, drink, and bills for about 20 people. Food was great (as were cocktails), and we plan to return.

Good quality food. Pricey. After dropping $100 on 2 glasses of wine, 2 entrees , and 2 desserts, charging $8/2 cups of coffee is ridiculous.

Had a great early dinner at the bar. All fried fish, oysters and shrimp. Excellent seafood chowder. Very friendly staff. Food would have been a 5 but didn’t care for the crabcake. I like lump and jumbo lump with minimum filler. Mine was none of the above. The interior of the restaurant is killer.

The food was absolutely amazing! Kyle waited on us and was awesome! Love, love, love the history here! We rated 5 stars for food and service. But only 3 for atmosphere. This is because part of the atmosphere experience is the beautiful exposed brick on the wall. As you can see in picture I posted it has a ton and I mean a ton of character! My husband and I sat and wondered who these people are, how far they have traveled from etc! It’s so amazing to see sooooooo many leave their mark. Some may not even be with us anymore. Some may travel here yearly. And some may be locals who look forward to the booth with their name on the bricks every time they visit. But no matter who they are, they matter! And their mark on these walls matter! Yet sadly, leaving your name on these walls is no longer allowed. And what a shame it really is to lose what could be a beautiful memory for those yet to come. There’s so much nostalgia, so many memories, so many stories in the names on the bricks!
