I ordered shrimp and grits
Shrimp had no flavor. Grits had no flavor. Mushy veggies on top and a the plat was swimming in a weird brown gravy. Dessert was an apple crisp with ice cream. Apples were hard and the struesal was a mouth full of oatmeal. Stringy carmel sauce on top. I'm a chef and know good quality food. I'm not sure where this chef came from but I'm out.

The Rhum Bar has always been our favorite place in Beaufort. We went for brunch and ran into friends and ended up staying through lunchtime. Awesome Sunday Funday! Everyone that served us was outstanding. Michelle,Takyla and Dave took very good care of us. We will be back soon ❤️

We had a wonderful culinary experience at this restaurant. Frieda was our server and she went above and beyond to make dinner perfect. Liv the manager checked in on us too. Food was prepared exquisitely. I love an icy cold, well shaken martini. This was the only flaw as it was not very cold.

This restaurant is super nice and the food is delicious! I really love how it is right on the water. If you are inside there is a nice intimate vibe and if you are outside you get a nice outdoor experience with the water right by. Would recommend to anyone visiting Beaufort!

It was a lovely place to eat outside. The environment was wonderful and always a beautiful view. Looking at the movement on the water. The menu is limited and very high priced and the portions are small but I can't get away from the view

I recently dined at Rhumbar, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Under the new management, the restaurant has seen a significant decline in both food quality and overall operations. The dishes served were subpar, lacking freshness and the vibrant flavors that once defined this establishment. It was evident that the attention to detail and care once present under the previous owners have been lost.

The service felt disorganized, and the ambiance, which I had previously enjoyed, seemed diminished. Given the drastic changes and disappointing quality, I would rate Rhumbar one star. I sincerely hope they address these issues and strive to regain the standards that once made it a favorite spot.

Thank you so much for being dog friendly! We had amazing service, above and beyond. Greeted automatically with a nice water bowl with ice and a cup of treats at our table for our dog. Food was good and views are some of the best. Thanks for making us feel so welcome!

Delicious food, beautiful view and very professional team. Try the fabulous beef basil dish and lemon cake for dessert!

Nice restaurant right on the water. Great views. The food was good. The restaurant is obviously popular with the locals. More golf carts parked outside than cars. Being a locals favorite is always a good thing.
Just FYI it was really loud on patio bar where we sat. Inside would have been much quieter. And they allow people to smoke on their patio. Uck

They were out if the special we wanted and the entree we had had as a second choice, and we couldn't eat outside, but the cocktail was great, the entrees we got were good and our waitress was nice.

This place rocks! They let us rent out the upstairs space in the Rhumbar for a private party. I feared they would get upset as we brought a professional karaoke machine and 30 raucous drinkers. The bartenders and staff were incredible and kept the party going to the end with us! The food and drinks on offer are delicious

The calamari was a balled up fried piece of fish parts. The fish bites tasted old and. Freezer burned The service was terrible with our waitress only paying attention to a large table . We were completely ignored. We have been there many times and have many wonderful meals and this was by far the worst.
