This restaurant is really top notch! I live in New Bern and I have no problem driving all the way to Beaufort and passing over 20 other Mexican restaurants to come here. The salsa tastes so fresh, the chips are always warm, the food is delicious and the portion sizes are great! Definitely recommend ⭐️

Wow Michelada Loco is a must...so good. There was a homecoming parade happining on the street out front so we watched from outside seating. Will be making sure I go next time I am there.

I can’t say enough positive things about Mezcalito! Staff treated me like family, food was delicious, restaurant was very clean. I highly recommend! Observed the manager’s attention to detail like no other restaurant.

Beginning with the most pungent aroma ever entering the business to being subjected to the loudest mind racking music ever it got even worse. Once seated I was instantly reminded with an attitude that they close at 9:00 p.m. as it was only 8:15 which i was full aware. It was as if i was a burden to the guy pretending to wait on us. We were obviously a burden since there was only four people at the bar including me and my girlfriend.Once the drink orders were taken I was harassed for for order choice repointing I caved on something just to get the hell out of there. We drank our drink and decided to make our order to go before we passed out from the fumes . Once home the final blow was the food was horrible . Not what I wanted or expected. I talked with a local about the place and they echoed my experience .
