Beautiful Inn right on the waterfront of Beaufort. The rooms are rented via Beaufort Realty and can be rented nightly which is wonderful but highly unusual during peak summer months at other Inns or hotels. We stayed in the Bristol Suite and it was just beautiful. King bed. Large den area. The home was built in the 1700's so my 6'6 husband was reminded of that fact and low doorways. This is still a beautiful Inn with 5 rooms and a lovely cottage out back. However, there is no continental breakfast served, and the Cedars Inn restaurant on the ground floor is now La Perla Restaurant, which moved from Morehead City to here in March 2018.

We rented to cottage in the back. The arrangements and booking were awesome. The biggest issue was that this back cottage is next to the kitchen and you hear everything. It's a beautiful piece of property in the perfect spot.

Delightful inn setting . No longer B&B but such a sweet place to stay. Almost like home but no kitchen access . Walking distance to everything in town.

We loved our stay at the Cedars Inn in the Carolina Cottage. Comfy bed, nicely redone bathroom, the air conditioning works well, the cottage is nice and private. We would definitely stay here again.

A charming gem of a fine dining restaurant across from the water in a lovely old two-story house. The food is always fresh and original, never had a miss, in both quality and presentation. Short but well-rounded wine list. The setting is quiet enough for an intimate dinner or a private business conversation, which is hard to find in many of the local restaurants that tend to be on the noisy side. There are rooms upstairs as well, though haven't had an opportunity to stay there. We have had well-traveled clients lodged there and they were charmed and happy.
