This place ROCKS. I was in there today and I was surprised at how friendly the entire staff was. Almost a Disney World happy place. I loved it. And the food was on point. They have a crazy large selection of choices and whatever you select, you won't be sorry. I got their Sesame Chicken and have to say it was really good. And again, the staff is great. I tried this place for the first time today. Best sushi I’ve had in Gaston Co. The sushi came out quick, looked delicious, and tasted immaculate. Service was top notch. Nice variety of beers both draft and bottles. Will definitely be back.
I was pleasantly surprised walking into Akahana, the space is much larger than it looks from the outside, giving it that hidden gem feel. We came in on a Saturday night with no reservation and were seated quickly, which was a nice bonus.
The food came out hot and fast, which I always appreciate. The plain fried chicken wings were so good we immediately ordered a second round. We also had the fried rice with vegetables and the lo mein, both flavorful and satisfying.
