Wife and I discovered this place by accident. We’re European and have both traveled extensively through the Greek isles. We were astounded to find such incredible Greek cuisine in Belmont, NC of all places. We especially recommend the octopus. The food is not “cheap” but absolutely worth it.

What a happy accident to discover this place. The food was wonderful and the service was even better. The lentil soup was incredible. I had the gyro platter. The meat was not what I was expecting but very tasty. Thank you Gus for a great meal with my fiancé.

By far the most disappointing Greek cuisine I've ever had. The saganaki wasn't served flaming or with anything to eat it with, so I had to pay extra for pita bread. They were out of mousakka but didn't know until after they rang it up due to 'bad communication' in the restaurant. I ordered risotto and asparagus instead, and the asparagus was severely undercooked, tough, and bitter. They didn't take it off my bill even though I didn't eat it. The drinks were subpar, and the bathroom stunk so badly that I was dry heaving and rushing to get out. The server asked us to give the restaurant another chance, but there's no way I'm spending another $100+ there for such a HORRIBLE experience.Edited to add I told the server the asparagus was severely undercooked, there was food in the sink of the bathroom, and there was something yellow laying behind the third stall's toilet. I understand it can't be served flaming, Peter was a great server, and I appreciate the dessert. Just do better with communicating what you're out of to the servers, cleaning bathrooms, and cooking asparagus, I suppose.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here recently. The food was amazing, and the service was impeccable. The owner came out and spoke to everyone in the dining area, which is a personal touch always appreciated. We will definitely go back.

I made my decision to come here after listening to family members and reading reviews I would have been better going to showmars. The half chicken was very small and no favor. My sides were small in portions as well. I order what I thought was Grecian potatoes were pre cut wedges with lemon and olive oil with Oregano seasoning. The spinach was very salty..... Just a very disappointed experience.

Beautiful space that feels like a warm Greek welcome. Pete, our server was excellent. He explained most of the dishes with a wonderful accent. You could tell he knew the menu first hand. Food was delicious and reasonably priced.
We had a group reservation that was put in a week ahead. There was one waiter for the entire restaurant but there were only two other families in the restaurant. I had to ask for a drink 20 min after we sat down. It took even longer to take our order. And we still got the appetizer before I got my drink. Then it was never refilled. Our food was good but very pricey. Our bill for the three of us was over a hundred dollars and since we were in a group of more than 8 20 percent was added for the tip. We will not be returning.
Have eaten here a few times & always look forward to going back. Peter has always been our server & aims to please - quick, pleasant & knowledgeable. Spanakopita was excellent as was the moussaka. Chicken kabobs were tender & tasty and the salads very fresh. Looking forward to returning soon, definitely recommend.
Had a meeting here. It was a great place to be able to sit and chat, not too loud and still lively. The food was excellent. The owner came to our table to check on us, we had a great conversation, and you could tell he is passionate and takes pride in his place.

Surprised by how updated this place was on the inside despite an unassuming exterior. Greek and Mediterranean food. Saganaki was well done. Gyros were also quite nice, but the lamb is more of a braised lamp (so more shredded) vs. the traditional gyro meat. I was a little surprised by that but kinda liked that better actually! Friendly service but had to ask for a few things like silverware. Would go back if in the area.
