I ordered delivery off their website and was charged on my card. I looked at a text message and it said pick up. I called and spoke with Natalie saying I wanted delivery. Natalie said I would have to pick up, no one to deliver. I told her to forget the order and refund my money. I'm still waiting on the refund since Dec.17, last review I gave was good even though they had messed it up also. I'm not sure if I will order from them again, maybe 3rd time they get it right!!!

We have been coming here since it was on 273. We understand they are building another location. The food is the freshest Japanese you will find anywhere and very flavorful. Sort of funny that you eat on foam plates with plastic ware, but that may change when they move into the new place. Excellent service. Solid experience! Most of us had the chicken teriyaki. One had the hibachi vegetables, and we enjoyed spring rolls for an appetizer. The spring roll sauce is spicy, which is a win for me.

I love this new location with sit-down service. It is much faster and more convenient for the customer than standing in line to order. The food is still great and the service is maybe even better. The atmosphere is copier and a little more private feeling. I like it A LOT better.

I will need to return again and give this location an additional review. I think they were having an irregular day.

Positive:
- Ample parking.
- Plenty of seats.
- Orders to go.
- Food is good.
- Carrots were sweet like candy. Kids will love it.
- Price is good.
- Comfortable seating.
- Bathrooms are clean.

Negative:
- Ordered Shrimp & Scampi combo. Received Chicken & Scampi (kitchen error). Price was adjusted to reflect served product. (Nothing else)
- Rice not sticky enough for chopsticks (made it almost 3/4. Had to switch to spoon - too oily)
- All dinnerware, cups, and utensils are all disposable.
- No Green Tea.
- No Hot Tea.
- N. Main Street Sake Express sign was extinguished (looked closed).

There was a table of about 12 celebrating a birthday, which might have affected today's experience. However, there were many missed opportunities for shining. I'll visit again in a week or two and update my writing accordingly.

Was sick and need to use a delivery method. Terrible management. manger got loud with me over me expressing that their delivery service from there own website brought our food all spilled out as I was on the phone with Danielle expressing this all she was telling me was she wasn’t responsible for the delivery and bring the food in but I’m sick and wasted 50$

I grew up on Sake Express, so I was unpleasantly surprised by the lack of taste in this meal. Hibachi chicken and rice were very bland, not even sure the chicken was fully cooked. I had to cut most pieces in half to be sure and I did throw some away after seeing pink. Carrots are always delicious and cooked well. I ordered the kids plate as an adult and was filled up so portions are great. Hopefully this was just a one time distasteful experience.

Our large group was so happy with the room and the table set up! We also enjoyed the food immensely…what a variety on the menu and all of it came out hot and delicious. We need to ask for a better plan when a large group comes in. The servers did their best,yet it took way too long to get drinks, orders, and checks. I hope this will be helpful- we would enjoy returning to your restaurant!

Kerrigan

Not affiliated with the Mount Holly location. They serve the same food but charge more and no longer have a drive thru at the new Belmont location. Myself and multiple others were trying to place to go orders much to the staff’s dismay, as this is now apparently a sit down restaurant. I suggest ordering ahead of time or just driving to Mount Holly instead.

I got a Door Dash order of tough, hard to chew meat. Crappy carrots and zucchini. I want my money back. I can make better hibachi at home. Horrible experience.
