I hit cigar lounges when I travel, The Jailhouse is number 43 in my log of lounges. I was in town for a few nights and made sure to hit this one because of the name and Pics on the google search. Ultimately the real life was disappointing. It is billed as a whiskey bar and car lounge, and it is both of those, but not together. Smoking was on a separate floor with no waiter/service. The humidor was walk-in, but bare. Not much to choose from, and not a desirable selection. I guess...
We chose The Jailhouse specifically for the cigar experience, combined with drinks and food. SUPER UNIQUE! The setting of an old jail makes the speakeasy part very enjoyable. The food was very good and the cocktails were made perfectly. Unfortunately, the cigar selection was limited due to a busy night before. There were still some quality choices, but definitely not enough. Overall, we had a FANTASTIC evening. Highly recommended.
I love the feel of this place, even though it was an old jailhouse lol. The food and cocktails are delicious to say the least. If you are a cigar connoisseur they have a nice selection of cigars available also a nice area to smoke. Highly recommend and a great date night spot.
