There isn't a more authentic Mexican restaurant in North Carolina. The meat is fresh from the family farm and there is a lot of love here. The mole is the real deal. I feel like I'm feeding my soul when eating here. You order at the counter and can dine in or take it to go. There is a great condiment bar. You can also dine in and feel comfortable alone or with family and friends. I usually get it to go. Highly recommended.
We ended up at this restaurant unexpectedly and are so glad we did! It was authentic and family-owned. We got the quesadilla and Al pastor + chorizo tacos. The portions were big and the food tasted great! They also have drink machines, we got horchata. There is also a bar with self-serve salsas and pico/cilantro/limes. We really enjoyed this restaurant and recommend it to anyone passing through Benson.
