I don't know what it is, but sometimes they cook the ham almost burnt. I think it's because of the number of orders. Some waitresses are very attentive and some don't even come over to ask if everything is okay. But every time I go, I leave satisfied with the rest of the food.
This waffle house is just down the road a few miles from my house. It's close to the interstate and it's easy to get into and out. The food is definitely Quick, and always tastes good. My waitress, she has been there for years. She's quick witted, huge smile and efficient. Makes you feel like your family. Combined with all the positives mentioned, there's only one thing negative about this place, as with all the waffle houses, it's to small, but...
Passing through from WV and so happy I stopped! I met a beautiful lady of 89 years (Miss Mary) to have breakfast with. We shared stories, had a prayer and left not as strangers anymore but as friends. Our waitress Dana was just the sweetest young lady. In fact the entire staff was so kind, smiling, inviting, and made me feel like I was home! Please stop in! Food is great too!!!! You won’t be disappointed!
